"I think I made a mistake in judging you. I thought you were a friend of Lucien and mine. But you are a selfish human being not fit to be a good leader", I told. I wanted to give him a piece of my mind before I leave.

" I thought so too Mara but you have to understand this is beyond me and you. It's for a bigger goal. We need to do things that go against everything you stood for some time. You can't second guess yourself", he said.

"I'm thankful for including me in your missions goodbye", I told him and walked away. I wanted to call him out for having a little idea of what I was up to. His knowing smile was a sign that he knew I was going to go after the kids anyway. But I didn't want to antagonise him unnecessarily. So I shut my mouth with great effort and walked out.
