"I don't know Lucien. I want to focus on my mission right now. My personal life can wait. We are both here. We have time. If you don't like my answer you are free to break free", I told him.

"I don't want to break free of my relationship with you. I want to be with you the rest of my life. If you forgive I will make it upto you as long as I live ", he told me quietly.

He had changed I noticed he had lost the cockiness from earlier. He looked more defeated and tired. I guess he is having trouble to understand me too. It is a given considering the difference between us. I never thought our difference would matter so much. But it does, he had different thoughts, attitudes and viewpoints. We are different like a day and night. But we have managed to coexist beautifully. Maybe in time I will forgive him. But not today or tomorrow.

"I will go now. Bye Lucien ", I told him.
