"S-she said she wouldn't drain me!" Lady screamed.

Nida clearly promised her that she would only absorb enough energy, and Lady didn't expect that she would not be able to stand alone after sharing her own energy. She doesn't feel pain or strange to her body, which is why she was not aware that she had lost a lot of energy, not until her knees gave in.

"Did Nida do something to you?" Randell put Lady down on the bed and began massaging Lady's knees.

"She asked for my energy because she used too much of her powers. But I didn't expect I'd turn weak like this."

"Oh, really? Let me apologize in her place and thank you for lending her energy." Randell understood why Lady was upset. He wonders what Nida is up to for sucking someone else's energy. "Food can replenish your energy. Can I carry you to the kitchen?"

Randell was too polite in asking permission to carry Lady, which made Lady blush and shy about being carried.
