Keisha, a graduate from Flight International School was given an opportunity to train under Philippine Air Force together with the four graduates of the same school. She was also with Dennis who always tag along with her. However, unexpectedly, the man she did not planned to talk to was the one who welcomed them.
"Anong ginagawa mo rito?"
Hindi niya lubusang inasahan ang tanong na iyon mula sa lalaki. Dalawa lang kasi silang babae na naglakas loob kuhanin ang pagkakataong ibinigay sa kanila.
Lalagpasan na sana niya ang lalaki pero hinawakan siya nito sa braso kaya natigil siya sa paglalakad.
"Sorry, Captain Xodriga but I believe you already welcomed us so if you don't mind, let me pass and I am asking for your respect as well if you want me to do the same. Huwag kang papasok sa kwarto ng may kwarto and please, treat me as your trainee, hindi na kita kaano-ano." Saad niya ng hindi man lang ito nginingitian.
Nakahinga siya ng maluwag nang bitawan siya ng lalaki kaya nagtuloy-tuloy na siya sa paglalakad. Tinabihan naman agad siya ni Dennis na lumingon pa sa likod bago siya nakausap.
"Anong sinabi niya?"
"It's not your damn business."
I continued walking and as I reached my quarter, I placed my things there. Tinawag agad kami para lumabas. Tangina hindi pa nga ako nakakaupo. Hindi ko pa nga nadadama ang kama ko. Double deck ang kama at bali anim kami dito pero walang sumalubong sa'kin. I see, baka busy sila.
As soon as I open the door to went out, I stepped backwards as the man in front of me walked like he's not going to crash on me. Sinara niya agad ang pinto nang pareho kaming nasa loob na.
"Anong ginagawa mo rito, Captain? Tinawag na kami through the intercom. I don't think I am so special for you to personally come in here."
"Why are you here?" he instead asked me
I raised an eyebrow. "Maghahanap ng gwapo. Tabi." saka ko naman siya nilagpasang muli pero kinuha niya ang braso ko pabalik kaya kaharap ko na naman siya.
"Get your things and go."
Pakiramdam ko nagsipantayan ang mga kilay ko.
I took a step towards him. "Diyan ka ba magaling? Sa pagtaboy ng tao?" binangga ko ang balikat niya sa paglalakad ko and this time, I'm lucky that I went out of that room.
Damn him.
"If you're not leaving, then I will assume you're following me here."
Agad akong natulos sa kinatatayuan ko. How can he say those words?!
He's totally an ass.
I twisted my position facing him again. "Then assume. Ang yabang mo rin 'no? Wala akong naging alam sa buhay mo at wala rin akong balak na alamin. So, let's just pretend that this is our very first meet up. Game, Captain?"
I saw how his jaw tightened and he looked away. He looked really pissed and I don't know why he's throwing out shits.
"Hindi ka magtatagal dito. Sisiguraduhin ko 'yan." Saka niya ako nilagpasan.
He was so serious that I felt discouraged. Bakit nalang ba lahat ng tao ayaw akong suportahan? This is my dream and this is what I want. Lahat nalang pinagtatabuyan ako.
Pero hindi ako magpapatinag. Isa lang naman ang kailangan kong gawin at 'yon ay patunayan sa kanilang kaya ko.
I continued taking my way and I remember his face a while ago. He was really serious and the tone of his voice seems a threat to me.
Bakit gusto niyang umalis ako rito?
And then I laughed mockingly. Ayaw na niyang makita ako. Tinaboy niya na ako noon at iniwan pa. Maybe he's that disgusted with me and he hated me so much. Remember? I cheated on him.
