“What?”

“I noticed something over the past few months of hanging out with you.”

Pablo smirked at Keenan. “I know what you’re going to say.”

Keenan chuckled in response. “Yeah?”

“Uh-huh. You’ll be telling me how gorgeous I am and how sexy my ass is,” Pablo replied while waggling his eyebrows.

Keenan burst out laughing. “Well, those are all true, but I’m going to talk about something else.”

Pablo was tempted to continue teasing Keenan, but he detected the seriousness in his boyfriend’s tone of voice. He put the photographs in his hands back onto the table before concentrating fully on Keenan.

“What’s that?”

“You’re much more reserved now. I remember you used to be a lot more outgoing than me when we were younger.”
