“Stand up,” Alex said.

“What?” Roderick asked, coming out of a

haze.

“Stand up,” Alex said. “We’re going to do

something else.”

“But I…” Roderick began.

“I know,” Alex said. “You were enjoying it.

Don’t worry. It gets better.”

Roderick looked at him doubtfully, but stood

up. Alex laughed at the expression on his new lover’s face, and

then moved around on the mattress so that he was on his own

back.

“Now,” Alex began. “I want you to ride my
