Chapter 36

After the applause died, she started with her usual explanation of Shibari and Kinbaku-bi. She turned to me and asked me to bring my chair to center stage but instead of telling me to sit, she told me to lie on the floor and she demonstrated the hand-to-knee hobbling. This time she tied both sides, then tied them together. She kicked me over on my side.

“Can you get up?” she asked. I tried, but got nowhere. The audience applauded.

Isamu untied me while Yuriko continued talking. She demonstrated a couple more ties with Daisuke.

She turned and pointed to the chair. I sat on it and leaned forward to grasp my ankles. She proceeded to wrap my body to my thighs and tied my arms behind me. She showed them how the arms could be dislocated with a quick tug of the rope.
