Chapter 74

Kane whispered, “Do you want to talk?”

“Could you stay for a few minutes?”

Kane nodded.

“Katya, I want to talk to Kane, is that okay?”

“Katya, she wait outside.” She left the room.

Donal immediately turned to Kane. “What if I choke? What if after all the pain and violation, I can’t complete the act?”

“The gods will take care of you. They took care of me. Now eat Katya’s food. I’ll come back at eleven fifteen to make sure you’re okay and still eating.”

Donal sat down and ate yet again. He looked up at the clock. It was ten to eleven. He had time to take a shower and make himself clean inside and to eat the blinis Katya promised she would deliver at eleven thirty. He had just come out of the shower and put on his pajamas and his robe when he heard the knock on the door.

“It’s Kane, do you need me?”
