Giving a bath

"Are you feeling alright?" Yu Dong asked as she looked at the sniffling mer. She should have taken a bath an hour ago but with Chen Mi sobbing like a child, she spent a good deal of her time calming him down.

"I feel really bad, I caused my wife to get hurt," Chen Mi sniffed as he wiped his nose on the sleeves of his shirt. 

"You didn't cause me to get hurt," Yu Dong said to the mer but that only made Chen Mi cry even more as he said, "I am the only one who is useless in this house. No matter how hard I work, I only mess it all up."

"I am not as smart as Brother Li, nor am I as strong as Brother Liu. I can't even take care of the crops and plants like Brother Chi and I am not as cheerful as Jie Jie!" 

Chen Mi was really insecure because of his lack of skills. Shen Li and the others grew up in harsh conditions and were more mature even Xiao Hua was smart and witty when it came to many things. 

Only he was childish and naive!
