Sherri cried and complained, telling everyone that it was because she had agreed to Marinda's dying wish. It was because Marinda had saved her life that she was willing to replace Marinda and live on.

This included helping Marinda's parents and taking care of Marinda's younger brother.

Sherri also admitted to poisoning the wolf.

She knelt on the ground and begged for mercy to John and Kathleen. "Young master, Ms. Yates, please forgive me."

She only admitted that she was not Marinda and that she had hurt the white wolf.
