He leaned back on the sofa and crossed both his legs and arms, trying his best so as not to show any expression that would make Jihan suspicious.
"Well… Let's just get to the point then. How much do you want to offer? The current bid is at seven hundred thousand dollars for.... square per meter." Jihan said.
At the end of his sentence, a foreboding silence came between them. Ryley slightly tilted his head and looked around the bar for a few moments, humming.
"Hmm. That's pretty expensive. Definitely worth it but I don't know if you are actually aware of the risk that comes with such w high price." Ryley replied, throwing the bait.
Jihan scoffed. "What risk are you talking about?"
"Do you have bodyguards?" The blond interjected in a flat tone. "Anyone or anything that could assure your safety even until the auction is over?"
"No? Why?" Jihan replied with a scoff.
