Chapter 12

When they arrived at the nightclub on the second deck, (three decks above the lower deck) they met with Emily and Natalie, Caroline's other co-workers who were on top of a stage working a stripper pole of which there were several throughout the club. The nightclub was dark and there were neon lights about the place, Caroline and Karen went to go get more drinks. "Stay right here. I'll get you a water." Caroline told Joe before walking into the thick crowd.

"I've got to pee." Joe told Zoë before he began his search for the washroom, he never got around to making that map. The crowd was thick with dancing bodies, everyone on this floor seemed to be on something or as drunk as Joe. He stepped on peoples toes, apologizing under his breath while bumping into people. One of those people happened to be Diane.

"You again!" She grabbed Joe by the hair and pulled him in close.

"Ow." was all Joe managed to say before she started to smell him at a very intimate distance.
