"What's bothering you, hearts?" asked Lesley. "You haven't even finished your egg roll yet."

"I don't know...nothing, I guess," answered Seth, looking down at his plate.

"Why is it so hard for men to talk about their feelings? Come on, tell me what's wrong. If we were talking about basketball, I wouldn't be able to shut you up."

Seth became visibly excited. "The Bulls are going all the way. Jeff Jordan Junior might turn out to be as great as his grandfather."

"See," Lesley pointed out. "But obviously, that's not all you care about since something's on your mind."

Seth's smile faded. "It's just what the others told us. I read it in Katie's timeline database. When I was wiped out by Sundial, you were with your old boyfriend...that Harold guy."

"What about it? That sort of surprised me too," said Lesley.
