I messaged Craig and Kayden, and they're both up for it."

Valerie's mouth twisted and I knew instinctively she didn't want to leave Liam. But I was determined this time, because sometimes I looked at her, and thought about all the responsibility she carried, and wondered if she ever thought about the things she'd missed in her late teens.
