Going to Auvraneian Kingdom 2

Rai's POV

"Even if the nobles gather just to destroy the royal family, that would be impossible." I said, sipping my tea, and everyone looked at me.

I placed my cup down and gave them a quick glance.

"Because they lack support from someone." Everyone went silent, listening as I continued talking.

"One hundred years ago, a powerful nobleman overthrew the entire royal family with the help of the anti-faction, but they had no idea that the crown prince had survived. He lived in a desolate place and was hiding for five years. The imperial crown prince almost went crazy when he heard the news and tried to use dark magic." I said.

"Although we have knowledge about this story, it was never mentioned in the book that he almost used dark magic." the Young Duke said.

"I have read this part in the book." the Crown Prince said, and the other just nodded.

"Oh! About that book." I said, smiling awkwardly. The four tilted their heads in confusion.

"I asked someone to tamper some books." I said and smiled.

"Huh?"

"Hm?"

"Eh?"

'Cough! Cough! Cough! Cough!'

"...."

Everyone was looking at me with a weird face.

"*Fake cough* Don't make that face." I said and everyone sipped their tea like a noble.

"What happened next, my lord?" Kelvhan, the secretary, asked.

"*Clears throat* After he almost used dark magic to reclaim his empire, someone, who had just awakened from his sleep, appeared before him, which prevented him from using the forbidden magic, and he cried in front of him, begging for help to save his empire." I said.

"Are you that God who helped the Crown Prince, my lord?" Killian asked.

"Yep, because I was the last Alexio in this world."

"I see." Killian said.

"*Clears throat again* So back to our story. When the traitor sat on the emperor's throne, those who supported the rebellion pledged their loyalty. While the late emperor's supporters were all against them, since they believed that this would cause greater punishment to the Empire, their new ruler just shrugged them off and started celebrating.

The next morning, a knight delivered shocking news to the new ruler. All of their grains were eaten by bugs and nothing was left, causing the citizens to panic and start to buy every food that they saw in their country. There was no water, no food for three months, and the emperor couldn't figure out what to do. After a month-long drought, the emperor finally found a solution." I said.

"What was the solution?" The Crown Prince asked.

"He invited all the mages from different kingdoms to make it rain and slowly, all the plants and trees were coming back to life and the citizens were happy, but it didn't last long."

"What do you mean?" Kelvhan asked.

"The southern part of the Empire suffered from severe flooding as it continued to rain and the center of the Empire was flooded with water. The mages tried to stop the rain, but they failed, and the rain kept pouring. Then the western part of the Empire suffered a scourge which nearly killed thousands of people in a day. The news devastated the emperor and attempted to take his own life. But before he took his own life, the imperial crown prince appeared with an army and killed all the nobles who were against the royal family.

The imperial crown prince killed the emperor with his own hands and ascended onto the throne. The next day, everything went back to normal. All the plants and trees have returned to normal, the plague has vanished from the Empire, and everyone who was hit by the plague has become healthy. In addition, the southern part that was severely flooded, was now back to its feet and continue their daily lives as if the flood didn't even occurred." I saw the young Duke raise his hand.

"Speak." I said.

"Were you the one who did all of it, my lord? I mean all the baad things that happened in the empire?" He asked but I just shook my head.

"It wasn't me, it was nature who did it." I answered.

"Nature?" they asked.

"Nature." I answered, sipping my tea. After I sip my tea, I place my cup down and continue telling the story.

"Only those who are blessed with Alexio can govern this continent. Even if the entire nobles joined hands together, nature will not allow them to rule this continent, that is why there is nothing to worry about, Your Highness." I said, and the Crown Prince just nodded and sipped his tea.

"It's reassuring to hear it from you, my lord." He said politely.

"There's nothing to be afraid of, since you have something that is more scary than those nobles." I said, and he and his secretary went silent, while the others were looking at them with a confused face.

"Isn't it right, your highness?"

"What does the lord mean, your highness? What are you hiding?" The Young Duke asked. The Crown Prince silently looked in my direction with a serious face.

"You seemed to know it really well, my lord." he said, looking at me like I was a suspicious, bad guy.

"I have ears and eyes everywhere, your highness. And it looks like 'it' considers you as his mother running around." I looked up and saw 'it' looking at me.

"If you're planning to take him away from me-" I cut off his words.

"Why would I take him away? I had so much to take care of on my land, and if I dealt with it for a thousand years, do you think I'm willing to take him and babysit him for another hundred and thousand years? You can keep it, I have so many creatures I have to deal with, and I don't want to add it to my list that goes on forever, all right?" I said straight into his face.

"Yes." He just said, and he called the dragon.

"And one thing I know for sure is he will never go with me, even if I force him. Since dragons are smart creatures, they can survive in any environment." I said, and I saw them freeze. The Young Duke spilled his tea, Killian dropped the cookie, and Kelvhan and the Crown Prince were flabbergasted.

"What did you say just now, my lord?" The Young Duke asked, and I just sighed and looked them in the eye.

"A dragon."
