Abuse Of Power

Roman ended up sending the friend/follow requests after all but didn't get a response for three days. Was Penny not very active on social media or what? Didn't most people check the apps at least once a day when they were bored? 

This was seriously starting to bother him. What if she saw them and ignored them on purpose? 

She wouldn't do that, would she? He really thought they had hit it off the other day. It wasn't like there was much meaning behind following someone on social media anyway. 

Roman was friends with people he had known in high school or college but hadn't personally interacted with since. It was simply the way those sites worked. Most people he knew had hundreds of friends even though they only regularly interacted with a few dozen.
