Episode 3 - Prince Louise from the Kingdom of Goblin (1)

The next day, Her father must go towards the main palace because of the Emperor. The Emperor needs him because of something important. In the morning he left without packing his stuff. Vanessa drove him and say goodbye in front of the main gate.

"Have a save journey, Your Grace." The Grand Duke goes with his horse carriage. Before that, he said to someone with a small voice. The person who heard his order replied, "Of course, Your Grace."

The person who answered his words is Varest. He gives respect to the horse carriage. "Thank you for your trust, Your Grace." He said.

"...What are you doing out there? Is getting rain soon!"

He turned around. "Yes, Miss Vanessa."

Varest quickly entered the mansion with his wet hair. Vanessa wipes his wet hair with a cloth.

"You will get a fever again."

"I'm sorry, Miss Vanessa." Her face was blushing under the cloth.

"I have a duty to do. Spend your time in the living room or library. If there's anything, just tell me in my personal office. See you later, Young Man."

"Sure...Miss Vanessa."

She leaving so fast and he was alone right now. Nothing he could do for this moment. He was confused in front of the main door and accidentally saw someone interesting.

"Maybe for just a little while."

Varest walked to the back of the mansion, through the big hallway. He comes to the training ground. There's no one in that place. He take the wooden sword that was lying on the floor and began to swing his sword repeatedly. He practiced the sword skills like Basil told him before. Sweat began dripping down his face.

"Isn't he the human kid?"

"You're right. What is he doing? Practice sword?"

"I heard that Your Highness, Sir Basil teach him how to use the sword."

Two people, a knight in the training ground accidentally see Varest who is learning the sword. They were curious about him. Their red eyes look at each other and smile slyly because planning something bad.

"Hey, Young Master!"

Varest stops the swing of his sword. "Is there anything you need, Sir?"

"You should know your place."

The knight speaking of the things something weird again. I'm tired. I think they've all been conscious of what they do before.

"Miss Vanessa maybe adored you so much. But remember you are her prey or tool. All of us must do her order because we are forced to."

His friend continues the conversation.

"While there is no Miss Vanessa and Sir Basil here. Both of us just wanted to tell you. Don't act rudely in the Grand Duke mansion, Young Man...Ups...! Young Master...Haha."

They burst out laughing.

"Yeah, so?" He didn't care and then continue to swing his sword. The knight looks annoyed.

"Don't act so arrogant, human kid." He said.

"Haha...What are you going to do?" Varest gives them a sharp gaze.

"This little brat!" He hit Varest face.

"We should give him some lessons."

The two of them took him to a quiet place. At the side of the forest, they beat him to a pulp. Varest doesn't understand what they're doing. He didn't even fight them.

One punch in his stomach made him helpless. He fell into a puddle full of mud. The pain came but the knights didn't feel sorry.

"Shame on you, Human kid!"

"Let's get out of here. Before anyone finds us."

They leave him alone in pain. Varest can only see and crawl slowly towards them. He managed to hold one foot of a knight. They've immediately kicked him. Because they feel disgusted by the human touch.

"Hey...! What are you guys doing?!"

"Your Highness, Prince Louise?"

Who? Prince Louise? I think I've heard that name before. But where?

"Answer my question. WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!"

His voice echoed until it made their ears hurt. Even the birds suddenly flew in the air. The man is angry makes the knights frightened, could not speak.

"You don't want to answer it? All right, then...FEEL MY POWER!"

His ready position makes the ground crack. He hit the knight with his bare hands. To the left and right sides, he hit them endlessly.

"Forgive us, Your Highness!"

He stopped hitting after hearing the word of forgiveness.

"On one condition, don't ever appear in front of the boy again. Do you understand?"

"YES! WE UNDERSTAND!" They kneeled on his knees.

"Go away! I don't want to do see your face." He shouted.

A man chases away the people who beat me. He wears a green robe with another kingdom emblem. His robe shows the color of his original skin. He turned around to me.

He held out his hand, showing the color of his green skin. He has golden eyes. He has slightly long ears. I've read about it in a book. The lesson Sir Basil taught me.

One country that has green skin color and golden eyes. The person who has those traits is the goblin kingdom. His name...Prince Louise? So he...he...

"Are you alright, Young Vampire?"

He is the 2nd prince of the Goblin Kingdom, Louise. A good friend of Miss Vanessa.

"You dirty with mud. We better clean ourselves up first. Come with me."

Louise gives his robe and took him to the lake. He told Varest to clean his face and took off his robe that exposed mud.

Varest is confused that Louise does not recognize him as human. Well if you see him again. Varest is similar to a vampire people. Except for his brown hair.

"Thank you, Your Highness."

Did he not know me?

"Are you half-vampire?"

"What?"

Louise approached him. His golden eyes are seriously looking at Varest's black eyes.

"You have black eyes, not red. If a vampire has a forbidden relationship. The child they have does not have red eyes like a vampire and has a black color like a human. Am I right?"

"Ha...What?" He gets more confused.

Prince Louise did not know that I'm human. But my brown hair? What should I have to say, yes..or no?

"Ahem...Yes...I'm a half-vampire, Your Highness." He answered nervously.

I have no other choice. I will discuss this with Miss Vanessa in the meantime. Now I have to lie first.
