Chapter 102: Quarterly Meeting I

I had done it.
I had won my duel against Selene.
Now I not only had an extremely beautiful and sexy centuries old powerful sorcereres and EVO undying loyalty, but essentially the Hellfire Club under my command.
Though of course the Club will need to go through a purge to make sure it becomes clean of those that would defy the will of Doom.
A job I'm sure Emma will love.
Seeing as how I've already decided to make her the new undisputed leader of the Hellfire Club.
Along with being the second member of my Cabal.
I'm sure she and Norman will get along great.
Rising to her feet Selene moved closer to me.
She then captured my lips in a kiss,which immediately began with tongue.
Which I would've immediately pulled away from.
Had I not felt my energy returning to me the longer our kiss went on.
My reserves back to acceptable levels when Selene broke it.
"What did you just do?" I asked her.
"I thought that would be obvious my emperor. I simply returned some of the life force and energy I took from you earlier." Selene explained. "Given that I could see you were on your last legs."
"Good job." I said. I then smacked her ass. "But next time wait until l give you permission before pulling a stunt like that unless I am in a situation where I am absolutely unable to do so. Is that understood?"
"Yes my liege." Selene purred.
Her entire body shaking.
Good.
For Selene needs to remember exactly who the one in charge is now.
"Oh my, I hope I'm not interrupting something am I?" The Ancient One asked.
Stepping through a portal.
"Not at all master." I replied. "By the way, I appreciate you being the arbitrator for mine and Selene duel." I told her.
"Think nothing of it Victor. Especially considering all you have done for me. This is just one of the many ways I will pay you back." She explained.
"I see." I replied. "Well again, thank you." I told her.
"My pleasure." She said. "Goodbye then." The Ancient One.
She then opened up a portal and took her leave.
Once she did I took out my phone and made first a call to Susan to let her know the outcome of the duel, then to Brainiac so he could see what I called a clean up team to my location.
To repair the damage to the area caused by mine and Selene duel.
After I did this I opened up a portal back to Latveria and took Selene there.
I then got her situated with the appropriate people after explaining hers and mines relationship.
Once I did I returned to Monaco.
Where I then crashed for a nice long rest.
Since battling and defeating a centuries old psychic vampire sorcereres definitely isn't easy.

Moving through the halls of Castle Doom I headed for my destination.
Feeling fresh as a daisy.
Since three days had passed with my duel with Selene, and now I was back at full strength.
Strength that I will earnestly start raising again after I take care of a few upcoming important matters.
Since that duel with Selene showed me just how much I am still lacking when compared to certain beings.
Not counting god-like being like the Celestials, the Beyonders, Galactus, and such there are still several people who could easily kill me with no issue.
Like Apocalypse, or even Adam Warlock.
If he is the one from the comics here and not that momma boy's nerfed version from the MCU.
There are also numerous other beings I could name but won't. Since simply seeing how weak I am compared to them won't do me any good.
No, what will do me good is surpassing my currentimits.
I need to become more. I need to become something else. I need the powers of a god.
Yes, a god.
It's decided then. I will become my own version of God Emperor Doom.
My plan set I continued on my way to my destination.
Which I soon arrived at.
A set of double doors.
Pushing them opened I stepped inside of the room and then closed the doors behind me.
I then went to take a seat at the circular table in the middle of room, where a holographic globe of the world and numerous holographic screens were located in the middle of it.
Along with other people seated at the table.
Those people being Natasha, Denz, Zora, Lucia, Ivy, Thaddeus, Thragg, Halo, and Savage.
Zod, Zemo, Jessica, and Katma are also present. Just in holographic form.
At the moment we are all here for the annual quarterly meeting.
A meeting that takes place every three months, barring some serious emergency, so I can hear reports on my people's various progress on tasks I have assigned them.
It's why I started the quarterly meetings in the last two years in the first place.
Oh and as to why Susan is not present it's because I don't feel she is yet ready to hear about some of the topics we discuss in these meetings.
Just a bit more time and she definitely will be.
But for now, no dice.
Though seeing as I would feel bad without leaving her anything to do I decided to kick her on Tony along with Pepper.
Because despite the talk we had in Monaco he still refused to tell those closest to him about his arc reactor Palladium poisoning.
So being the good friend I am, after I recovered from my battle with Selene, I told everyone the truth.
Who needless to say were not one bit happy.
That's why at the moment Tony is currently getting ripped a new asshole by a combo of Susan and Pepper in his Malibu Beach house.
For the next day after my duel with Selene, since I was well enough to travel, my lovely first wife and I headed for the good ole USA.
Given that we were invited as special guests to the Stark Expo, given our relation to the Future Foundation.
Which has been given an entire day dedicated to it at the mentioned Expo.
But enough about that for now. Back to the matter at hand.
I looked around the table and gave a curt nod. "Alright, everyone is here. Now let's begin the meeting." I spoke.
