Gauging the Strength

Around 30 berserkers were closing in towards 9 of their enemies from all directions. Alexis and the others were trapped in the middle of the forest. And unlucky or luckily for them, they were in the clearing of the forest and there was nowhere to hide from the incoming attacks.

All of Alexis's team members had weapons with firepower ready in their hands, and they were all spread out and facing outwards towards the berserkers. They all could feel the slight tremor that those berserkers were producing when they were running towards them.

"Just how many are coming our way? Do you all feel the ground shaking?" Natalia asked the others. Her voice was trembling because of extreme fear. 

Out of everyone in the team, Natalia was the one with the least experience in terms of using the weapons and that was taking a toll on her already. She was trying to keep her hands steady and target at the berserker in front of her, but she was miserably failing at it.
