Chapter 49

Max is as eccentric as I remember. 

His ideas are…a lot more active than what Fred, Hannah and Kim have been helping me out with. He believes prodding the memories where I Jumped is a good idea, but the energy needs to be focused.

And so he got everyone except Kim and Astro out on a Jet. They've both got work to do on base and can't afford to take a break from it, Astro especially has a few conferences and several more public apologies to make. The net simply won't let the issue rest.

Well, according to Hannah people would've forgotten about the whole thing in two days and gone back to licking the man's feet if it weren't for all the articles, pumped out every so hours slandering his name. 

He's even been accused of crimes he hasn't committed, at least, Hannah says he hasn't. I'm on the fence about the entire Astro vs Severance thing, I was there, I got away and I'm fine. I'm good to forget it.
