Chapter 33

"So tell me, how are you feeling about yourself today, Paige?" 

It's been about a month and some days since I got here, the fresh, liberal, functioning city of Sancino. The pride and joy of the Altean Nation, of the Altean people. Why they claim this is starkly obvious, they're proud of their achievements, and I guess they should be proud.

But they're beginning to grate on my nerves.

I'm here with the woman again, the doctor working with me not on me. She's made that emphasis clear in the last session, her sessions are brief and oftentimes I come out questioning a lot of things.

In a weird way, she's the only person I look forward to spending time with here. Max is ever busy still and I'm not allowed to see him despite all the requests I've put in. I'm beginning to wonder if Hannah was right about it all, the 'friendship' I have with Max.
