Ryan stared at the red-rimmed eyes boy with a dumbfounded look.

Was this boy being overdramatic about his departure? He might transfer into another province for maybe a year or two, not for eternity. Why would you cry miserably like a little wife being abandoned by her husband?

He exhaled an exasperated sigh and motioned for Detective Su to move out of his way, which the man reluctantly followed.

Ryan beckoned the boy to come with his arms open.

Shi Jimin bent down and hugged Ryan with his face buried in the crook of his neck. He bawled immediately.

Detective Su clicked his tongue. What are they, being over-dramatic like that? And why would this brat cry like a kid? Ryan only goes there for a transfer. It's not like he will stay there for the rest of his life. Sooner or later, he will come back.
