A Yearning for Home

The guard stood there looking at that opening behind that wall, 

"Are you sure that's?" They looked at each other and one of them nodded, 

"What are you doing here?" Two boys walked up behind them, 

"I told you we'll pay you next week, and we just paid you yesterday! why are you here?" Those two were the boys from earlier and Galil and Erwin.

"Ah, Galil….you see this is our new man, he'll be the one in charge of this street from now on, so the one you gave me, I spent it all, now you have to pay him 500 copper again to live here! The guard smirked at them rubbing his hands, he had nothing but greed on his face with no empathy at all.
