Chapter 86: And So She Watched

Two days of not meeting anyone and not going out of her unit, Amethyst heard a commotion outside.

When she opened the door, she found Slate angrily looking at Beatrice.

"I don't need it. I don't need anyone's help. So just leave," he angrily said before slamming the door on Beatrice.

Beatrice looked at Amethyst and she was on the verge of tears.

"Beatrice," Amethyst called and the tears she was trying to stop came rushing out before she rushed to Amethyst.

"I just want to help him, I just want to help him but he got mad instead," she cried.

"Okay, okay, calm down. Why don't we go inside and talk? Do you want some water?" Amethyst patted her back and asked.

Beatrice nodded her head while still crying.

Amethyst could only sigh as she leads her inside.

Truth be told, she knew that if Slate didn't want it and still someone tries to tell him to do it. In his current condition, he would surely lash out just like what happened.
