Sleepless

Y/N's POV

It's been two months since I last saw Yeonjun. It still hurts. I'm sitting on my bed looking out the window.

'Why did you lie?' I whispered. There was a knock on the door. "Come In." I said. It was Hongjoong.

"Hello." He smiled. "Hi." I replied back with a small smile. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Of course I am." I said. He sighed and sat beside me.

"Are you still thinking of him?" He asked. I looked down. I heard him sighed, with a hint of anger. "Get some sleep." He said as he left my room.

I layed down, trying to fall asleep, but I couldn't fall asleep. A tear rolled down my cheek.

I sat up and hugged myself while I cried.

I've been like this for the past two months. And I hate that he made me like this.

Hyunjin's POV

I was very tired after my journey to see Yeonjun. I was in bed sleeping, until I felt like I saw someone. The face was of a woman, but it was blurry so I couldn't see her clearly. It wasn't blurry anymore. I looked at the woman and she looked familiar. I recognized her.

Y/N

'Isn't she the woman who Yeonjun had an affair with?' I asked myself.

I got up and drank some water. I layed back down, trying to sleep. But I couldn't. I kept seeing Y/N.

Yeonjun's POV

I was in my study looking at the picture of Y/N. Mother and Father don't know I still have her photo. That's why I hid it. There was a knock on my door. I quickly hid the picture in my book. "Come in." I said.

It was my father.

"Oh hello father." I smiled. "Hello son." He said.

I can tell he is still upset.

"Was there something you needed to talk to me about?" I asked. "Yes." He said as we walked around my study. "About what?" I asked.

"Your marriage." He said. I froze. "There will be a ball next week where you meet suitable Princesses for you to marry." He said. He was about to continue until I slammed the desk. I took my book and went to my room. "I'm going to bed. We'll discuss this tomorrow." I said before closing the door.

King Choi's POV

He still loves her. I feel terrible about keeping them apart, but with Kingdoms at war, it's not a smart decision. Bundang-gu and Uncheon-myeon have been at war for centuries. And I intend to keep it like that. I cannot risk disappointing our ancestors only because of Love. Love is nothing. Love comes with heartbreak. Yeonjun will just have to accept that.

I should know, I've been through it.

Yeonjun's POV

I was sitting on my bed, still looking at Y/N's picture. A tear rolled down my cheek and fell on the picture.

I heard the door creak. Someone was coming. I started panicking. I was about to put the picture underneath my pillow, but it was too late.

I mentally cursed.

"Hyung?" The person said. I took a breath of relief. "Oh thank goodness." I said. I turned around and saw Beomgyu in the door frame. He came and jumped onto my bed.

"What happened?" I asked. He stared at me for a few minutes. "What?" I asked. "Nothing." He replied. "Then why were you staring at me?" I asked. "You're not okay." He says. "What does that mean?" I asked, confused. "You say you're fine, but you're not." He said.

I sighed. "You're right." I said. "I know." Beomgyu said. I rolled my eyes. "Well, I'm here to talk." He said. "Wow. Since when did you become the Hyung?" I asked. "I'm more mature." Beomgyu said. "At least I'm not as loud as you." I said. "Hey!" He yelled. "My points exactly." I said. "Whatever, good night." He said, leaving my room.

I took one last look at the picture. I put it back into my book and went to my study and hid it.

I went back to my room to sleep. I layed in my bed. I still thought about Y/N. After an hour I fell asleep.

Subconsciously, in my sleep I said something.

'I love you Y/N'
