When Kushina and Minato realized that something strange was happening, the tension in the air increased considerably. At that moment, Kurama, the legendary nine-tailed demon that was sealed inside Kushina, decided to manifest and alert the couple: "Hey, aren't you paying attention to your son?" His voice echoed through the air, but Kushina was confused and didn't have time to react, as a woman who had taken her baby just fell in front of her, accompanied by another woman.
That was when an unknown man, dressed in a suit that covered his entire body and a mask that hid his face, appeared holding little Naruto in his hands. Panic took over the couple as the masked man forbade Minato from approaching, saying, "Stay where you are." The man even put his left hand near the child's face, threatening to hurt him if Minato tried to do something.
With no options, Minato stood still and watched with anguish what was happening. Kushina, in turn, tried to remain calm and courageously addressed the masked man: "Release my son." The man looked at her silently for a moment before finally responding, "Okay, take him." With a sharp movement, he threw Naruto up, and Minato, who was already alert, managed to catch his son in his arms before he fell to the ground.
However, the tension was not yet over. When Minato picked up Naruto in his arms, he realized that something was wrong with what covered his son. With impressive agility, he used his chakra to anchor his feet to the ceiling and threw away the sheet covering Naruto. It was at that moment that he noticed several explosive papers hidden there, ready to explode. Thanks to Minato's quick thinking, he managed to teleport himself and Naruto to a safe location before the bomb papers exploded.
Kushina watched with relief as her husband and son emerged unscathed from the dangerous situation they were in. However, her attention now turned to the masked man who approached her. She looked suspiciously at the face covered by the mask, concerned about the seal on her belly that was exposed.
"It must be hard, isn't it?" The man spoke with a serious tone, looking towards the seal. Kushina didn't understand what he meant and decided to ask, pretending not to know what he was talking about to buy time, knowing that her husband would come looking for her, as he did when she was kidnapped.
"I don't know what you're talking about. What do you want here?" She asked, trying to appear calm. However, the man did not answer her question and continued to speak, "It must be very difficult for you since you and your husband are going to destroy Konohagakure village."
Kushina felt a pang of fear and uncertainty but tried to maintain composure. The man put his hand on the seal without delicacy, causing the symbols to pass through Kushina's body, burning her skin and making her scream in pain.
Kurama, trapped in his cage, watched everything and decided to speak again in Kushina's mind, trying to persuade her to release him: "Kushina, if you release me, I can help you. You can use my powers, it's very simple."
Kushina refused Kurama's offer, feeling the sharp pain in her body. She knew that the masked man probably wanted to release Kurama and did not trust him. Kurama was also aware of the risks involved in his release, knowing that he could be controlled by Obito's Sharingan, despite his new powers. Of course, there was a greater chance that he would not be controlled, but he didn't want to wait and see.
!
He decided to try to convince Kushina to cooperate with him, offering a tempting deal: "Kushina, come on. If you release me, I can help you. You can be in control the whole time, I'll only lend my powers. Let's work together."
Kushina felt the hesitation in her mind, but still refused to release Kurama. She was determined to protect her village and her family at any cost. Kurama, in turn, decided that the only remaining option was to try to convince Kushina through "dialogue." He was willing to try everything possible to achieve his freedom.
The masked man picked up Kushina and lifted her from the rock on which she was lying. The girl groaned in pain due to childbirth, but the man did not seem to care. He walked towards the exit of the cave with Kushina in his arms, heading towards a large rock that had two larger stones on each side. Since Kushina had no strength to react, the man easily placed her in the middle of the rock and tied her hands with chains. He tied her firmly so that he could extract the Kyuubi from her without any problems.
"Kushina! This is your last chance. If you don't release the seal, I'll go out and make the fury of the lunatic out there seem like a mere whim. You can bet I'll reduce this village to ashes, with every scream echoing in my mind like music. I'll be ruthless and uncompromising, and nothing, absolutely nothing, will be able to stop me. Understand well, everyone in this damn village will pay for your mistake. Listen well to my words, Kushina, because they will be the last you hear before darkness takes over everything."
But Kurama, who was inside the seal, began to shout angrily. He used his strength to make the chains loosen, and they began to make noises as if they were about to break in half. Kurama managed to hold one of the chains with one of his claws and used his strength to break it. Then he held other chains and began to pull them hard, but they didn't break, only creaked.
Kurama let out a roar that made the whole seal tremble as if it were about to break at any moment. Kushina, who was outside the seal, let out a heartbreaking scream. Her beautiful voice began to falter due to the screams of pain she was feeling. The symbols of the seal began to appear on her skin, her eyes began to bleed, and her ears seemed to have broken eardrums as they began to bleed as well. The seal on her belly began to bubble more than before.
The masked man realized the situation and was surprised when the red chakra began to come out of Kushina's belly. He had already felt it before entering the cave, but it was not as strong as it was now. He had to use chakra in his feet so he wouldn't fly away. "What powerful chakra, is this really a Bijuu?" The man wondered. He knew that Bijuus were very strong and had a lot of chakra, but the pressure he was feeling seemed like he was facing Madara Uchiha or, worse yet, facing a being stronger than him. The masked man looked at the chakra gathering behind Kushina.
The red chakra formed a nine-tailed fox. Each of its tails moved in a different direction, the giant fox showing its big teeth, its fox cheeks contracting in anger. The masked man was even a little scared at that impressive sight.
Kushina was immersed in an unparalleled suffering, feeling the stabbing pain of the seal that kept her as the walking prison of the Kyuubi. She bitterly wondered why she was going through that. Was it to save the village, the people who had once looked down on her for dreaming of becoming the first female Hokage? Was it fair that she should suffer so much for a village that had treated her poorly in the past and that even now did not see her as a person, but as a weapon?
Kushina remembered the destruction of her own village and wondered why she had survived. Why did she have to bear the burden of being the jinchūriki of the Nine Tails, a Bijuu that many saw only as a weapon? However, despite everything, she had found love and given birth to a son. Why should she die now?
The option of accepting the deal with the Kyuubi crossed her mind, but she did not want to lose everything she had gained. Would it be possible to keep the fox under control with its chakra chains, in case the Kyuubi wanted to do something? Kushina wondered, ignoring the pain that was eating away at her.
"Easy, Kyuubi, you'll be out soon."
However, her reflections were interrupted by the masked man's words. He hesitated briefly, but soon resumed his plan to release the Kyuubi to get revenge on the village and his own sensei. Kushina knew he would not stop, he would release the Bijuu from its seal. She sighed, feeling even more cornered and helpless as the masked man continued to put his plan into action.
The masked man approached Kushina slowly, feeling the difficulty imposed by the Kyuubi's chakra. Every step required immense effort, but he was determined to achieve his goal.
Meanwhile, Kushina struggled to stay conscious. The pain was unbearable and her field of vision began to blur as blood ran from her eyes. She knew she had to do something to save herself, and the only option seemed to be to make a deal with the Kyuubi.
"I... accept... but you have to keep your word..." She struggled to pronounce the words in her mind, which echoed in the seal that held the Kyuubi. Kurama, who was struggling to break free from the chains, heard her words and was silent for a few seconds before responding.
"I refuse." Kurama's response shocked Kushina. She did not expect him to refuse her offer, but realized it made sense since he was about to be released.
"But if you promise to keep me out of the seal, I'll help you, but I'll still be connected to you." Kurama offered a new proposal, and Kushina thought for a moment before accepting. She knew this would displease the elders of the village, but she was willing to do anything to survive.
"Okay... I accept." She pronounced the words with difficulty, almost too weak to speak with Kurama, who smiled with satisfaction. He easily released the chains that held him, as if he had never been imprisoned.
With the seal released, the red chakra of the Kyuubi stopped flowing. The masked man noticed this, but did not care, quickly approaching Kushina, now free from the power of the Kyuubi.
As the masked man cautiously approached Kushina to take the seal on her belly, she suddenly disappeared before his eyes. Surprised, the man could not understand how Kushina, who apparently did not even have the strength to move properly, had managed to escape his capture so quickly.
And then he saw her again, now on a larger and more distant rock, with a completely different appearance. Her red hair shone intensely and her blue eyes had transformed into red eyes with red slits in the middle, emanating an oppressive energy that put the masked man on alert. A bright red cloak covered her arms and sides, leaving her legs exposed. But what caught the masked man's attention the most was the black mark on her belly, with black lines extending in various directions, as if they had been drawn by a divine power.
The masked man couldn't take his eyes off Kushina, who was now on top of the water, using her chakra to stay stable. He was still trying to process everything that had happened since he had felt a violent impact on his back. The surprise was so great that he didn't even have time to defend himself, only to feel her power. If Kushina hadn't passed through him so quickly, he would have died instantly.
With a mixture of surprise and fear, the masked man abruptly turned to face Kushina, who floated serenely on the surface of the water. Her face showed determination and confidence, but also a confused expression, since she had passed through the man without causing any visible damage, despite the apparent impossibility of the feat. Kushina couldn't understand how the man had not died, considering the extraordinary circumstances surrounding her act.
