Lilith Snow - Arrogance

Picking up on a snap, as six blades surrounding Zantar were about to enter his flesh, my eyes opened wide as Zantar suddenly became Asmodeus… My father.

I pulled back, dismissing five of my copies into the ether, while my sword only managed to pierce through the flesh of Asmo's abdomen.

"Lilith!" Said Father snapping his eyes towards his battle, where his face paled. "LEVI!" He howled, dashing past me as I followed, not seeing Zantar. Only the wreckage of our battle. My heart raced as the Abyssal Children followed.

Seeing mother combat an army of Paragons on her own, twirling Longinus around with an onslaught of almighty essence, flashing back and forth in a myriad storm, my eyes narrowed when suddenly, a small child appeared by her side, with an icy glow in his eyes.

"Azeroth!" Cried Amso as he whipped past the beams of the star ships raining hell upon my world.

Ash fluttered my senses as I came into range of this particular battle. Still, as I did, hundreds of Seraphic blades came from the skies piercing the space around Levi and Azeroth, who merely tilted his head, shattering the Heavenly Bind with excessive ease.

My stomach dipped as I stared at the Eternal playing as Devil. He could end this battle with a mere thought if he wished it. Unease, however, still began to build if not for this faker but the one who switched Zantar with Asmodeus.

"What is your order?" Elsa asked a little unsure whose side we should be on.

"Kill anyone with the King's Crest on their brow," I said, noting the one on Asmo and Levi and now Azeroth. The only ones who didn't carry the crest were the Abyssal Fiends, who held the power to destroy just about anything through the myriad of divinity they possessed.

Sensing Arsene's eyes upon me, I nodded and flickered back to the target point and created another time clone of myself to sacrifice, while the real me suddenly went into the shadows.

I soared to Arsene's side, narrowing my eyes as I masked myself from this Ilthad's Divine Sense.

"Seems like you failed to kill Lilith." He said, with hands poised behind his back.

"I, despite my research. There is very little about the abyssal fiends and the abyssal children. It's fine. Live and learn." He mused, chuckling as though it made little difference. "

Arsene nodded almost in agreement. "You know your end will not be pleasant, right? This is the second attempt on my wife."

" A weakness is a weakness. You've only yourself to blame for having children. Your either bad parents who can't plan for the future or desperate."

I guess he's not a baby person. I love chibis. They're so small and fluffy, not to mention who would have a plan for Fallen and all this other shit, growing larger and larger.

"Is that a tinge of emotion? Quite the opinion you have there. Tell me, who did you lose to Zena?" Arsene asked, picking up on something I totally missed. Gods, I love how perceptive my hubby is.

ARSENE, I WANT MORE OF YOUR BABIES!!! ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR… A MILLION! A WORLD OF ARSENE'S!

"An unborn child just like you," he said, picking his gaze up to the dusty skies blanketed by ash. "I was arrogant, thinking my victory was already in hand. I thought I knew better. Until I met that Nephilim, fooled by her idiotic behavior, I missed the cruelty that lay beneath those wings. She plunged her arms into my sweet Ena, tearing out the fetus, and tossed it before my feet, spitting over it as she approached.

"I might be falling in love," Arsene spouted, unknowingly waiting for his death.

"It was then I learned of Zena's past. Of her hidden darkness obscured by Tenebrae and Mithra. Zena is no Angel but a Fallen." He remarked, and Arsene laughed, causing Yornen to grimace.

"Is the death of my unborn child amusing to you, demon?"

"Far from it. But for you to miss such a thing about Zena proves to me your weakness, pride. It was clear to me in the few instances I met her. And it became even clear when her father Azazel warned me to back off." Arsene narrowed his scarlet eyes as the illusion around him began to fade, returning him to his abyssal form.

The air shifted, and the starry light began to wain around my world. As the Attunement of the Abyss began to tremble to his will. His wings expanded, and his scarlet eyes carrying both our sigils in his eyes, glowed a demonic light.

"A man with nothing to lose is quite scary, but you've got lots to lose, don't you, Yornen.' Arsene said, chuckling devilishly, " You've your colony to assist."

Yornen's brow twitched slightly, but it was enough for both Arsene and I to notice.

"Word to the wise, before Arsene, whether they be Gods or Demons, flee." He said, bellowing in demonic laughter, as Noctem began to blaze a seething flame that carried the Flames of the Abyss.

Arsene sucked in a large breath, turned his back to Yornen, and a formation covered in abyssal runes began to stretch out beneath his feet. He lifted Noctem, which carried his heart, and smiled.

Observing the Abyssal Formation grow over seven meters in diameter, my heart hammered against my ribs, pounding with mad exhilaration. The Formation rose from beneath his feet, hovering over him like a halo.

Suddenly one of the necrotic pillars, blazing an endless amount of Necrotic Qi, whipped towards Arsene as though he was a magnet. Striking his body or perhaps the sigil, a shadow of a winged beast stood behind him with its arms crossed. Releasing such a mighty aura, I could feel Izavith watching over us grow guarded.

Shimmering with a graceful might that carried the will of perfection, Lucifer stood behind Arsene like a guardian angel.

A ripple of such power swelled over the land, wiping out life billions of light years away. The power was so strong that if Izavith wasn't here, I was sure we all would have died.

"You are the head of the dragon. Once all seven stars are connected, it will be up to you." Lucifer said, his words dark and cold.

Arsene sneered, arching his head high, "You needn't tell me that. The will of the Abyss speaks to me."
