Do You Like Miranda?

As Alyssum and Brenda stepped inside the room, one person was inside the room, and didn't know where the other classmates were. However, one familiar figure, crouching beside the window. Brenda signed her to come and sit beside him.

She responded with a nod and strolled closer to him. And as she sat beside him, her eyes gazed at him, who's busy on the paper. She peeked at his paper and smiled widely when he was busy drawing.

She never thought she would see his actual drawing. Only Christian pointed at his paintings and drawings.

"This is my first time seeing you draw." She mumbled while crouching beside him.

He hummed as his answer while continuing on what he was doing. She was staring at him, watchin on what he was doing.

"You keep staring at my drawing, Aly."

"I can't help it, Chance. It's my first time and also, its fascinating." She mumbled.

Then, she glanced at Brenda, who was smiling at her, giving a big thumbs up. She responded with a nod and glanced back at him, who was focused on his drawing. She smirked when remembering the plan that Brenda did after that family dinner.

FLASHBACK

"Okay, Aly… I have a huge plan on how you will fall for him."

Then, Aly was crouching on her desk, listening to what she was going to say. Her curiosity hit her badly when Miranda was hitting on him and it needed to stop. She needed to have a special place inside Chance's heart.

"Tell me your plan, Brenda." She mumbled.

She smirked at her, stood from Alyssum's bed and strolled closer to her while holding her secret notebook. She placed the book on the desk and opened it on the exact page where she wrote her plan.

Alyssum, on the other hand, was enthusiastic about the written plan. She couldn't believe that her best friend would create a plan for her. And also, one thing she noticed, her best friend striving to attack her own cousin for a certain reason.

"So here's a plan for 'Operation: Make Him Fall For You'. First…"

END OF FLASHBACK

First Mission: Know all his hobbies.

They were childhood best friends but she didn't know anything about his hobbies. She told that to Brenda when Chance and Alyssum got into a huge argument last year. Chance didn't let her know his hobbies, or what he called…

'My personal space.'

She sighed while staring at him, who didn't even utter words. He was focused on his drawing. She just leaned on the desk and abruptly, poked his side torso which made him flinch. He glared at her as Alyssum laughed and poked it again.

"Aly! Stop, I need to finish it!"

She laughed and backed away. Then, her head leaned on his shoulder when hearing Miranda's voice from the door. Chance gazed at him and lightly, he pinched her nose with a sweet smile on his lips. She smiled back and leaned closer.

"You've been very sweet to me, Aly. What's wrong?"

She shook her head, answering his query. Her eyes focused on what he's doing and she noticed that it's very dark drawing. As if he's enduring some pain inside him that Alyssum didn't perceive about.

"I always thought, where did you learn that?" She asked.

"Christian mentored me when I was little and I practiced very hard to improve. Do you like it?" She responded with a nod.

"It's abstract." He agreed.

"I express my feelings here in my sketch."

"It's too depressing, Chance."

The drawing exemplified a treacherous image which expressed his feelings towards the outside world. The rainbow colors were tears that rushed through the lady's cheeks.

Then, her eyes gazed at him, who's focused on his drawing. His flutters dark brown hit that compliments his deep gray eyes. His appearance was way far from his brothers and all of it was getting from his father, Mr. Bailey.

"Aly, are you okay?" She nodded.

She stood to give him space but a masculine hand grasped my wrist and halted her to go. She glanced at it, cocking her head on the side, confused about his actions.

"You can sit beside me, you know." He uttered without staring at her.

"Why? I thought you don't want me to sit with you."

He heaved a sigh and signed her to crouched. She did as he was being told and crouched beside him. Slowly, he removed his grip and patted her head like a little girl. She glared at him and hit his shoulder as Chance just laughed at her and backed away.

"Why do you want me to sit beside you?" She implored.

"Well, I don't want Miranda to see my drawing and also, she was annoying. Talking for the whole period of the class." He ranted while placing his drawing inside his desk.

'Annoying, huh? I saw you talking with her happily and now ranting about it.' She thought to herself.

She didn't tell him since they would have a huge argument if that happened. She was done fighting or arguing with him since it took a long time before they were okay.

"Do you like Miranda?"

He frowned, crossing his arms before looking at me. Then, he sighed and placed his right hand to her shoulder and mumbled,

"Do you think I would allow you to sit with me if I like Miranda?"

'Make sense.'

"So…"

"No, I don't like her. I just give her a chance to talk with me and besides, I need to know what she likes because of the date she wanted this Saturday." He explained before fixing his seat.

Then, she glanced at Brenda, who keeps watching both of them. She signed her to get her bag and give it to Alyssum. Brenda, on the other hand, was too happy seeing both of them having a great time.

And so, she gave Alyssum's bag before going back to her seat. But all of a sudden, Brenda's worst nightmare walked towards her and crouched beside her.

"You're alone. Mind to join in?"

'This is a total nightmare.' Brenda thought to herself.
