We then started following Ravenclaw Prefect, Robert Hilliard, into the Ravenclaw common room and meanwhile he was talking about how Ravenclaw is the home of the smart and the best wizards came from it and blah blah blah.

Ravenclaw's common room was in one of the towers on the sixth floor, and we had to climb a spiral staircase to reach the common room entrance, which was guarded by a bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle. The eagle then gave us a riddle, which after being answered by the prefect, allowed us to enter.

'What a dumb way to protect a common room, the Hufflepuff entrance is much safer than this... Sigh, and this is the house of intelligence!?' I thought in exasperation.

Entering the common room I could see that it had graceful arched windows with walls decorated in blue silks and bronze. The vaulted ceiling was painted to look like a night sky, which highlighted the midnight blue carpet. Tables, chairs, and bookcases filled the common room, and a white marble statue of the founder, Rowena Ravenclaw, stood beside a door that led up some stairs to what I assume are the dorms.

After we all entered the common room, the prefect told us about the running of the house and the rules, which was basically not to disturb the other students when they were studying and that the curfew was 9 pm. He also told us that everyone we could take the books from the Ravenclaw library, but that we should return them at the end of the school year and always lend them to a student who was most in need.

So the prefect showed us where our dorms were, which were actually up the stairs from the door next to the statue, and up there was divided into two corridors on opposite sides, and the girls were in the left corridor and the boys in the right. . It's also worth noting that we have single rooms, I think to have more privacy to study.

After that, the perfect left and allowed us to go to our dorms, but not before informing us that breakfast would be at 7:30 in the morning.

Arriving in my dorm the first thing I saw was that it had the same design as the common room, with a single bed at one end and a study table beside it, the room also had a small bookcase and some scattered pillows. At the foot of my bed was my trunk with Nyx's cage on top.

"Hi girl" I told her, opening her cage to allow her out.

"Meow!" meowed Nyx coming out of the cage and rubbing herself against my leg, conveying affectionate emotions to me.

"Wait just a second while I renovate this room," I said, placing Nyx on one of the floor pillows.

'I knew those decoration spells would come in handy at some point' I thought as I took my wand out of its holster. I then started to renovate the room completely.

I cast an expansion spell on the room, made the blue a little darker and added some black and silver accents. I made the ceiling look more realistic with stars, increased the size of my bed, and above it I placed my family crest. After that I moved the furniture in my bedroom to my liking, placed a scratching post for Nyx and an armchair in the corner of the room with a small table beside it.

"I'm glad I had spare furniture in my suitcase" I said to myself, "Sigh, I can't wait to make this furniture with magic, it would be a lot less work"

I may have talent in magic, but this level of transfiguration is still very advanced for me, mainly because I don't have any knowledge about it, as I was only able to get the transfiguration books for less than two months, and I couldn't even read the advanced books yet.

Looking around the room, I patted myself on the back, satisfied with my work. So I started casting protection spells in my room, as I don't want anyone entering without my permission.

"Just this one and... Done!" I said after launching the last protection, which happened to be a prank too that would make the invader turn fluorescent orange.

Now truly satisfied, I grab my toiletries and head to the bathroom in my trunk to take a shower and get ready for bed.

'Glad I asked the goblins to install a fully functional apartment in my suitcase, it must be horrible having to share a bathroom with the other male students' I thought to myself after I finished my shower.

Already lying on my bed, with Nyx resting beside me, I started thinking about my plans for while I'm at Hogwarts.

'Hmm, let's see... I have this whole week to get used to the castle and the classes. I have to find the secret passages to be able to get from one place to another faster. And I also need to continue with my training and improve my spells' I thought as I mentally jotted down the plans, 'Ah! And I also have to learn more about the theoretical parts of magic from the teachers, as this was the part that I lack knowledge and clarification.'

'And with all that, I almost forget the subjects I couldn't do the practical part at home, like flying and herbology classes. Even though I bought a Nimbus 2000, I have never used it as I live in Muggle residence and my trunk doesn't have enough room to maneuver with a broom' I thought sadly as I was excited to fly.

I realized that my Beasts Power made me more adventurous, and just thinking about flying free around gave me a big thrill.

'Besides, I want to stand out in my studies and be the best student. I may have complained about Ravenclaws being competitive, but I never said I wasn't either... And if my goal is to reach the top of the wizarding world, like the most powerful wizard there is and has ever existed, I have to start at the bottom, and for that I need to become the best student of my year!' I thought with determination in my eyes.

"This is just one more step towards my goal, and I'm going to surpass it," I said out loud with a smile on my face, looking up at the starry ceiling of my room.

'The top of the wizarding world... I'll get there' and that was my last thought before I fell asleep.
