Chapter 43

"All hail his grace King Robert of house Baratheon first of his name, King of the Andals and First men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm" said the announcer

"And my I present Emperor Greg of the Roman Empire"

"Lord Robert, I thank you for your invitation to King's landing it is truly a wonderful city once you get past the smell" said Greg since ever since he arrived in King's Landing he could smell how bad it was from past the wall.

Ignoring what Greg just said about the smell of the city, Robert asked the question that was on everybody's mind.

"Before that, can you tell me why you brought an army to the doorstep of the city" Asked Robert

"For my Protection" said Greg

"When coming to a land such as this, you never know if you're safe or not" Said Greg

"Still, Bringing 20k men to a foreign land doesn't really help the situation and causes a lot of problems for me trying to explain to my subjects that we aren't under attack" said Robert

"But never mind that I invited you here to meet the new Emperor from Essos and hopefully talk over a meal" said Robert

"Well Lord Robert I would love...." Before he could finish, Cersei interrupted him

"I Think you must have forgotten who you are in the presence of I don't know how they do it over there but, This is the King of the Seven Kingdoms and you will address him as such" said Cersei

Before Greg could say anything, Aleanna had spoke first "You are right he is the King of the Seven Kingdoms, but that is all he is, He is not the King of Essos nor is Above Greg in any way" Said Aleanna as she continued

"He is no subject of the Seven Kingdoms, so he doesn't have to address him in such a way and do remember that we are your guest here in the Kingdom" Said Aleanna

Cersei sized Aleanna from top to bottom before she smirked, "I'm guessing your his whore, It's quite amusing a lady trying to play knight...

"Enough" Yelled Robert

"I Invited them as guest, and they will be treated as such" yelled Robert making the whole room quiet

As the room got quiet, Greg had a few words to say to cersei "Insulting a foreign guest with their army outside the city walls I thought the queen would be smarter than this being the child of Tywin Lannister, But I guess all that power has made you stupid over the years" Said Greg Causing some Kings Guard and Gold cloaks to put their hand on their swords

Robert's face said it all as he was angry at Greg for insulting the Queen publicly even if she insulted him first, he can't just let that go in front of all these people.

"King Robert" Called Greg with a loud voice as he made everybody be quiet

"I came here on your invitation yet here I stand being insulted by your queen, is this how you treat guest in the seven Kingdoms because already you tried to assassinate me now your queen insults me I should come up there and show the Queen what happens when you insult someone who will do something" said Greg

Robert stood up from the Throne with anger as the King's Guards and Gold Cloaks drew their swords, causing Greg's Guards to also draw their swords.

"How dare you threaten the Queen in front of me, I outta have your head placed on a pike" Screamed Robert

The Whole Throne Room was tense Before Greg said, "If you value the lives of the people in your city and want to keep your Throne, then I Suggest you let me leave because If I don't return then my entire fleet and army will burn King's Landing to the Ground and all those lives lost will be because of you" Greg had threatened Robert

Robert didn't believe him until a soldier came saying that hundreds of ships were approaching the Port of King's landing.

Robert wanted to put Greg's head on a pike, but he knew if he did that, then the army outside would raze the city along with the hundreds of ships approaching the port.

Robert had to make a difficult choice and let Greg go.

"Let them go" Said Robert as some of the Guards sighed since some of them had seen the army outside and didn't want to fight that

Greg turned around and walked out the Throne room while Robert was cursing him.

After Greg left, Robert stormed out of the Throne room and went to drink to calm his mind.

Greg had rejoined his army and begin to return to the coast to meet the fleet and return to Lorath.

Robert who was drinking was approached by Cersei, "You would allow them to insult me and leave unharmed" Said Cersei

Robert looked at her as he drank the wine, "You started it by calling that girl a whore after you interrupted him for calling me Lord Robert" Said Robert

"These foreigners need to learn proper manners when talking to a King" Said Cersei

"Well, one of these Foreigners is an Emperor and had an army outside the city which would have razed the city or if he was lying would have taken the city" Said Robert

"But...

"But nothing, we were surrounded, and I made a decision to protect the city and our family now leave me" Robert had slammed his fist on the table causing the wine to spill

Cersei left the room, leaving Robert alone.

Aleanna as they were returning to Lorath was calling Cersei a Whore while cursing her while Greg was just smirking since not only did he insult Cersei, but he threatened Robert who had such an angry look on his face.

Greg would have called him an usurper, but that probably would have been too much for Robert
