Kane and Adrian?

"What will it take for you to stop being so hostile towards me?" Kane asked in a rather exasperated tone.

"When you tell me what I want to know about why you came here?" I replied with a sneer.

Kane simply shrugged without giving me a reply. After the two of us stood our ground, both not staying anything, an awkward silence permeated within the gymnasium. Finally, I found myself a little annoyed and didn't want to waste time with the other person anymore so I said with a sigh, "Why did you come and find me just now?"

"I just wanted to ask if I can come with you to Adrian's training." Kane replied in a leisurely tone, placing his palm against the wall as he supported his entire body under its weight.

"No." I promptly replied without even giving a second thought.

"That's what I thought you would say, so I already made myself an appointment with him, or more specifically his father." Kane ignored my rejection and continued in a matter-of-fact tone.
