Maebi ninjato came in between the beast's teeth blocking it in between. The beast bounced back as a hindrance had come between him and his prey.

Klautz smirked.

'She indeed is a talent.'

The protector needs to know when their client is in danger and only then come in between. Coming in between anytime else would only hamper her clients progress.

Such were the teachings that were passed to ninjas but it would be done years from now. But Maebi? She was adaptable. She got used to the situation fast and was now actively protecting Klautz in such instances.

Klautz focused on the two serpents at hand trying his best to fend them off. He didn't want another unblockable attack on him.

He had to kill the beasts himself otherwise he wouldn't get a stat drop. Maebi was just there to protect him, not for anything else. If she did even a little bit of damage to the beast Klautz won't be getting a stats to drop anymore/
