Masks Basic Information

[Mask Faction]

A Group that was created by the Government to take care of [Veils].

Within the Faction, there are [Holders], also known as [Masks].

When a [Veil] is discovered, a group of [Masks], a [Domino], is dispatched to take care of it.

These [Domino] consist of 6 [Masks] at most.

There are also those who like to go solo.

They are known as [Cloaks].

When a [Cloak] is dispatched, then the [Shadow] is most likely a Weak one.

However, if they prove their Strength, then [Cloaks] can be allowed to take care of Stronger [Shadows].

When a [Shadow] is defeated, then the [Veil] immediately closes after the [Masks] who entered have exited.

However, when a [Mask] is killed, the Mask they wear will Crack, then Shatter into Dust, leaving only the Corpse behind.

The Same will occur when the [Holder] loses their Will to Fight or Live.

When a [Holders] Will is measured, it is put into 5 Categories.

[Life]

[Patience]

[Bravery]

[Hate]

[Determination]

Each Catagory has it's own unique Color Scheme, and can be measured using the Technology developed by the [Faction].

[Life] is a deep Pink, and represents the [Holder's] Will to Live.

[Patience] is a light Green, and represents the [Holder's] Will to Wait.

[Bravery] is a bright Yellow, representing the [Holder's] Will to Fight.

[Hate] is a Dark Black, and represents the [Holder's] Will to Never Forgive. The Lighter the Color, the more Forgiving the [Holder] is.

[Determination] is Red, and represents the [Holder's] Will to Move Forward.

When these [Wills] come into play, they grant Power through the Masks wielded by the [Holders]. The Stronger the specific Will, the Stronger the [Holder] becomes.

The Brighter the Color, the Stronger that Will is.

Those "Colors" are also carried onto the [Holders Will], which is the Weapon the [Holder] can Manifest.

When a [Will] is manifested as a Weapon, it may alsi gain various "Effects" and "Abilities".

[Life] has a high chance for granting Protection Based Abilities, as well as Boosts that can temporarily Make oneself and others stronger.

[Patience] has high compatibility with Healing Abilities, but has been proven to have some [Holders] with Attacking Abilities, as well as Decoy Abilities.

[Bravery] has many Attack Based Abilities, as well as many Self Boosting Abilities. This [Will] focuses mostly on Strength and Agility.

[Hate] has a large variety of only Attacking Abilities, most of them being Ranged. There are also cases of Trapping Abilities that allow the Setting of various Traps.

[Determination] is an All-Rounder Type, allowing the use of Many Different Abilities, from Healing to Attacking, as well as Defending or Trapping. It may also contain some Unique Abilities, like the Transformation of the [Holders] Weapon, or a Permanent Shield that can only be Broken under certain conditions.

With these Abilities, there also came the news of [Awakening].

In order for the [Awakening] to take effect, the [Holder] must have one specific [Will] at 100%.

In the [Awakened] State, the [Holder] gains a tremendous amount of power, allowing them to eliminate, or at most disable any Opponent they face.

The [Awakening] only lasts for exactly 5 Minutes. After that, the [Holder] is unable to move for roughly Half an Hour.

When the [Holder] has gained enough Strength, they may ne able to [Awaken] multiple times within a single fight.

When their Strength far surpasses that, they can [Enclose], which will set every other [Will] to 0%, and Maximize [Life] and their Strongest [Will]. If [Life] is their Strongest [Will], then they will obtain 200% [Life] instead of 100%.

When the [Enclosed] State has ended after 1 Minute, the [Holder] loses Consciousness for 24 Hours.

Unlike [Awakening], this cannot be used Multiple Times in a Fight, no matter how strong the [Holder] is.

There is a final stage above [Enclose].

[Liars Mask]

When this stage is reached, it signals the [Holder] that they have reached their Peak.

When [Liars Mask] is active, All [Wills] are set to ∞% for 5 Seconds. After 5 Seconds, the [Holder] is put into a 1 Month Coma.

Other than the [Stages] the Masks have, the Weapon the [Holders] use, the [Holders Will], can also change [Stages].

There are 3 Stages to the Evolution of the [Holders Will].

The First is it's [Basic Stage], which is simply the Manifested Weapon.

After enough [Shadows] have been slain, the Weapon will Grow, gaining more Power.

When the [Limit] is reached, the Weapon can move into [Stage 2], also known as [Overclock].

When doing so, the Weapon becomes more powerful, and the [Holder] gains a great amount of Strength.

The [Limit] cannot be Gauged in any way. When the [Limit] is reached, the [Holders Will] begins to Vibrate, then Transform into [Overclock] Mode for a few seconds.

When [Overclock] has been achieved, the [Holder] can continue slaying [Shadows]. When the [Limit] is reached once again, the Weapon will shake uncontrollably.

This [3rd Stage] is much Stronger, and will unlock a [Unique Trait] for the [Holders Will]. This [Trait] is Passive for All Stages.

[Stage 3] is known as [Striker] gives the [Holder] a massive Boost in Strength, as well as making their body Half its Original Weight.

When a new [Stage] is reached, it cannot be activated at any given time.

There will be a [Gauge] that appears on the [Holders Will]. This [Gauge] is a Circular Shape, and is placed somewhere along the Weapon, such as below the Head of a Spear or the Blade of a Sword.

This [Gauge] signals the [Holder] using a Slight Vibration throughout the Weapon. There is also a Meter along the [Gauge] that fills up with Time, as long as the [Holder] is within a [Veil] that contains a living [Shadow].

[Masks]

A [Mask] is the public name for a [Holder].

A [Holder] is someone who dives into [Veils].

Large Tears appear all over the World. These are known as [Veils].

A [Veil] contains a Creature within, known as a [Shadow]. The inside of a [Veil] is a Foggy Space roughly 10 Times the Size of a Football Field.

[Shadows] are Pitch Black Entities that take form of any living creature that has died in the [Veil]. When Killed, a [White Shard] is dropped, and can be sold for a high price.

When one enters a [Veil], they always appear with a [Mask], which grants them various Powers.

The Main Force of Power is the Weapon that Manifests, also known as the [Holders Will].

The Stronger the [Holders] Will in one emotion is, the stronger they become.

The [Holders Will] is manifested in a weapon that best suits the [Holder].

Those who enter a [Veil] will arrive on the other side with No Wounds, and Vice Versa.

If a [Holders] Will falters, the the [Mask] they wear will begin to Crack. When a [Mask] is broken, they are immediately killed by the [Shadow].

When a [Veil] is left for too long, it begins to devour the surroundings, making the [Space] inside expand.

When the [Space] has expanded for too long, the amount of [Shadows] increases.

From time to time, there is a [Devils Shadow] that will appear. These [Shadows] are multiple times stronger than the usual [Shadow].

When a [Devils Shadow] is slain, instead of a [White Shard], a [Black Shard] is dropped, and can be sold for 10 Times the amount of a [White Shard].

And the Rarest Event, the [Demon Veil], is essentially a [Boss Event], which contains what is called the [Shadow of Death], or [Death Shadow].

The [Death Shadow] is stronger than a [Devils Shadow], and is the strongest Class of [Shadows] that exist.

They hold tremendous power, and also contain a [Holders Will], which is then known as [Demons Will].

When Killed, the [Death Shadow] will drop a [Mask], which can be used to change the [Holders] Weapon, as well as give them more Strength when in their possession.

When exchanging [Masks], there is a [Keyword] that is permanently engraved into the [Holders] Mind.

Each [Mask] will have a different "Compatibility" with the [Holders] Will.
