She smiled softly while admiring the light decorations the workers put up earlier. It was already dark and everyone was having fun since there was a small festival. Her smile widened when she finally saw him. A kiss on her lips was given and she rested her head on his chest to hear his heartbeat. It has been a while since she felt happiness. She looked at him and she could see how much they loved each other.

"Raina, for how long will you be able to stay here?" He asked as he held her hand gently. They started walking in the crowd and then, they stopped in front of a meat skewer stall. She pointed at it and he bought two for them to eat.

"Just until tonight. I can't stay here for too long. My husband will discover that I'm sneaking out." She said before taking a bite. If she could just turn back the time, she would rather choose him than her ruthless husband.

She smiled faintly, worrying about her twins. They were already a year old if they were staying in the human world. Perhaps she could convince her husband if they could stay there for a few years. She could use the twins as an excuse for seeing the man she loves. She decided to enjoy their limited time together and when the clock struck midnight, she hurriedly went to the graveyard as the portal to the underworld was there. She stopped from her tracks when she saw a married couple standing in front of an unknown gravestone.

"Condolences." Her voice was soft yet comforting for the married couple. The woman smiled at her and she showed her the photo she has been holding since the moment they arrived at the graveyard.

"She was so pretty." Raina said while staring at the photo. The one who died was their daughter. It was a car accident. Due to their ages, they couldn't produce any more infants. She suddenly heard footsteps approaching, so she gave back the photo to the woman and excused herself. She hid behind the large trees and bushes at the side and she saw a man with a newborn baby in his arms.

"Please.. take care of her." The man said and she could see that he didn't want what he was doing. She gripped on her dress tightly while watching the man give his newborn baby away to the married couple. He was in a hurry, so when they finished asking him, he immediately left.

"Gia.. Let's call her Gia." The woman was so happy with their new blessing. She doesn't know what she did during her last lifetime and someone blessed them with a newborn child. They named her with the same name as their late daughter.

She almost forgot that she should go back to the underworld. She hurriedly entered the portal and when she finally arrived back, her husband was still asleep. Her clothes changed into a black and silver mermaid gown and then, she went to the other bedchamber to take a look at her twins. She smiled sweetly when she found Little Riku awake. She carried him in her arms and hummed a lullaby. Among the twins, Riku is her most favorite son but she made sure that both of them will receive the same amount of love, care and attention from her.

"My Little Reiki is also awake." She said softly and then, she carefully put back Little Riku in his crib. She carried Little Reiki this time and gave him a gentle kiss on his forehead. She heard the servants outside the bedchamber, so she walked out to know what was happening.

"Is everything alright?" She asked one of the servants and she told her that there was a creature rampaging outside the kingdom. They heard the massive explosion from the defense towers and the guards immediately secured the Royal family.

The king was carrying Little Riku in his arms while she was carrying Little Reiki. She was frightened when the king went mad. He gave her Little Riku and then, he went out to kill the creature who caused a huge destruction towards the kingdom. The twins started crying and she hushed them by giving kisses on their foreheads and cheeks. She sighed in relief when they finally calmed down. She suddenly thought about him. She just couldn't stop loving him despite their differences.

The whole place went silent after a while. One of the servants informed her that the king already defeated the creature and it was already safe to go outside. She took the strollers and placed the twins there. The servants pushed the strollers outside and then, she gave her husband a hug. She closed her eyes, wishing that it was him instead. She felt a kiss on her forehead and she smiled softly when she looked at him.

"Your sons are looking for you." She said and they could see that the twins were curious about the dead creature. Little Reiki's eyes turned light grey while Little Riku was reaching for his father. The king carried Little Riku once again and in order not to make Little Reiki jealous and sad, she carried him instead.

Meanwhile at the gates of the heavens, Ichirou just arrived back from the human world. His mission to keep the people safe was accomplished. It was just weird that he stumbled upon a demon king there. He was about to fight him when the demon king said that he had no time to deal with him. He furrowed his brows at that moment. He reported to the deity what happened and another mission has been given to him. He knelt in front of the altar and closed his eyes to offer prayers.

"You know that having an affair with the demon king's wife is something unforgivable and unacceptable." The deity said when he arrived at the altar. He opened his eyes and turned to look at him. Only the deity knows about it.

"When the right time comes, she will be in my arms forever." He smiled faintly and the deity just sighed at his plans. He already promised to the deity that he will take responsibility just in case they will get caught.
