First two rounds

The next morning

Cross was leaning back in a chair, snoring as the tournament was about to start. Everybody was looking at an old man, who was supposed to be a big shot or something. The man's name was Ling Kun and apparently he commanded respect.

Cang Yue elbowed Cross, who jumped and shouted "Wife!" the lofty aura Ling Kun projected, shattered and everybody looked at Cross. Fen Juecheng glared at Cross and looked at Cang Yue, before thinking.

Cang Yue blushed and said "What are you saying!?" Cross touched his nose with a wry smile as he said "Sorry.." Cang Yue crossed her arms and pouted, but it looked like flirting to everyone else. Yun Che chuckled and said nothing as everyone started disliking him.

Cross blinked and looked at Ling Kun as he said "What are you looking at?" everyone sucked a cold breath of air, Ling Kun smiled and said "My apologies." Cross sneered and stayed silent, going back to sleeping. This moron.. how could Cross not tell him smile was fake? Good luck scheming against him, a single slap and he was finished.

The tournament started after announcing the awards. Cross was paying close attention to Ling Jie and Yun Che. The announcer said "Cross, and Yun Che!" Cross jumped up and said "Aiyo!" but he immediately silenced himself and disappeared before a young boy took his place.

Cross snickered towards Luna, who was sitting next to Yufeng and looking at him with a sweet smile. He jumped to the stage and walked over to the assessment stone, everyone looked at him and wondered where this child came from.

Yun Che, Cang Yue, Qin Wushang, Chu Yuechan, and Yuanba were stunned.

Cross touched the stone and the announcer's eyes almost fell out as he said "B-B-Bone age 11.... 8th l-le-level Spi-Spirit P-profound Realm!" Cross smirked and everybody's jaws dropped. Cross skipped to the Blue Wind team position.

Yun Che gulped and touched the stone before going back.

They got their numbers and Cross was fighting some guy named Irre Elevent. Everybody focused on the magical 11 year old.

Cross said cutely "You won't hurt me will you, Big brother?" the boy across from him was stunned and shook his head, Cross smiled brightly as he said "You're the best!" while grabbing the air. A massive mace, 4 times Cross' current size appeared and Cross smiled as he jumped forward and smashed the mace on the boy with a crazy expression.

The boy trembled and ran right off the stage, screaming "I CONCEDE!!!!" Cross stood on the stage and pointed a finger to his lips as he said with watery eyes "Why did big brother run away? D-D-Does he not want to play with Cross?" his lips quivered and he sniffled, trying to hold back the tears.

Luna said "He wouldn't..." oh but he would! Cross burst into tears and ran back to the Blue Wind team, everyone glared at the boy who conceded and Cross hugged Cang Yue's leg as he said through sobs "B-Big S-Sister, he-he didn't wa-want to play with C-Cross! Is It be-because C-Cross is a ba-bad child?"

Cang Yue was stunned and Yun Che laughed before going to fight. Cross made it to the 16 person round.

A while later

Cross was on stage once again and rubbed his nose with his sleeve as he looked at the girl from the Frozen moron sect with watery eyes. She looked to be struggling and Cross asked "Will Big sister play with Cross?" tears started pooling, threatening to drip out.

The girl said "Uhh.. Uhh..." Cross started sniffling as his lips quivered, she finally mechanically nodded and Cross happily ran over and tapped her leg saying "Hehe, tag!" before running away, the audience was stunned.

The girl was equally stunned and chased Cross, who giggled playfully and continued running. If you looked closely, every step he took the ground shrank to meet his foot. The girl simply wouldn't catch him, not in this lifetime.

A few dozen minutes later

The girl was sweating and breathing heavy, Cross stopped and tilted his head as he said "What's wrong, big sister? You don't want to play anymore?" the girl was dead tired and couldn't respond. Cross walked over and patted her leg as he said "It's okay, you can take a break!"

His small palm his the girl's leg and she blasted out of the arena, smashing into the walls like a train.

Cross giggled and said "Silly big sister! That's a wall, not a bed." he shook his head and skipped back to the Blue Wind team. The audience gulped and that's how Cross got the name 'Demon Child'.

A while later

Cross was walking around by himself at night, in his normal form, as he heard "Why did you choose to instead, protect this marriage certificate?" Cross hid himself and ran towards the voice. He saw Yun Che and Qingyue, he looked at Qingyue and saw her body completely devoid of any semblance of human likeness.

Cross was enraged! What kind of garbage sect is this!? He had enough. he walked to Qingyue, who said robotically "Qingyue cannot answer this question." Cross sneered "Soon enough, you will." Qingyue trembled hearing the voice of the demon but it was too late. Cross grabbed her head and searched her memories before finding what he was looking for.

'Frozen Heart Arts' Cross cursed "Frozen Heart my ass! Obliviate!" and just like that, 'Frozen Heart Arts' was gone. All the progress she made with it, vanished into a puff of smoke. As if it was never there in the first place.

Cross heard the Castle, who didn't speak for a long time, finally say something "Elven Prince.... Absorb her small world... This is most beneficial to you..." Cross replied "What will it do to the girl?" The Castle replied "Her talent will disappear and she will be just like everybody else... All you have to do its touch her lower back and I will absorb it..."

Cross thought for a moment before deciding 'Fuck it' as he touched her lower back. His inner world glowed and Qingyue's 'Small World' inside of her was ripped out from her body, along with her talent. She felt like she was missing something but she didn't know what it was.

Cross then obliviated her of her own body and his voice just now before walking away as Yun Che said "Qingyue? Hello?" Qingyue blinked and smiled softly "Yes?" Yun Che was startled and said "What happened to you?"

Qingyue tilted her head and said "What do you mean?" Yun Che said "One moment you're a robot without emotion and the next you're normal..." Qingyue shook her head and said "I don't know, but I feel much better." Yun Che was silent and was 100% sure Cross was behind this change.

Cross looked at Qingyue and as she got warmer the laws surrounding her started melting away, he sneered at the sight "Heaven's will? What a joke. When I'm done with this so-called 'Heaven' there wont be anything left!" he chuckled and walked back to the Blue Wind rooms.

Cross sat in his room and leaned back in his chair, reading from his Sherlock book. He didn't have many left and he bought a ton of them, he just hoped they would last. Luna was in the castle and contacted Cross through her ring "The inner world just expanded by 100 times and the energy is 1000 time purer. What did you do?"

Cross replied "Took the ice girl's inner world from her. The castle told me she could do it." Luna was silent for a few seconds before asking "And the girl?" Cross said "Nothing. Poorer talent, basically the same as Yun Che now. She's not a heavenly supreme whatever genius anymore. Probably can't do a few things she could do before.. Who cares anyway?"

Luna let out a breath of relief and said "I thought you-" Cross interrupted "Aw! Gross! That's not the only way to get it!" Luna giggled and said "I thought you killed her.. What were you thinking about, 'honey'." her voice got a bit dangerous and Cross started to sweat as he said "Hehe. I don't know what you're talking about, my love! Haha!" Luna hummed and stopped talking.

The door opened and Yun Che walked in saying "What did you do?" as he closed the door, Cross smiled and said "If I told you I crippled her, what would you do?" Yun Che sat down and said "I'd laugh then ask you to tell me the truth."

Cross smiled and said "The reason for her being a robot was a technique called 'Frozen Heart Art'... I simply.. Deleted it from her memory. All the progress she made in that technique... Poof! Gone with the wind~"

Yun Che trembled and said "You..." Jasmine popped out and said "You can do that?!" Cross smiled and nodded, Jasmine grinned evilly and said "I have a few people you can make 'forget' some things... Hehehehehehehe" Yun Che asked "But won't she just learn it again?"

Cross nibbled on a cookie, Luna made in the castle, as he said "That's not my problem. I'll just delete it again. I find it quite fun to destroy her. Her body is covered with laws... When I got rid of the technique the laws melted away... they're not all gone but most of them are."

Yun Che said in confusion "Laws?" Jasmine froze and said incredulously "You can see Laws?!" Cross smiled and replied "I reached the Pinnacle of my world before coming to this one. Of course I can see Laws.. I've fought against them for a few months..."

Jasmine was stunned yet again, but quickly got over it as Yun Che said "Laws are bad?" Cross shook his head and replied "Not necessarily. When you get strong enough you can change the Laws of a world. Let's say you have an enemy but their offspring escapes. You can block every lower world from letting the offspring advance through the Laws."

Yun Che nodded and looked thoughtful, while Jasmine looked at Cross with trembling eyes.. She had a sneaking suspicion he was talking about himself. His eyes flashed with bitter hatred for a split second before going to normal as he spoke. Yun Che might not have noticed but how could Jasmine not?

Cross' rage and hatred was immense towards the Laws and she could feel it, he might not have killed as many people as she did but his Killing intent was in no way inferior to hers. It might even be greater! But unlike hers, Cross' Killing Intent was sneaky and dead cold. There would be no terror felt, because once you felt it, you were already dead.

Cross waved and said "Plus, she would probably die or do something stupid if I don't stop her now. Luna couldn't even see her future." Jasmine asked "She can see the future?" as she blushed deeply, thinking about what she could've seen.

Steam came out of Jasmine's head and she went back to the Sky Poison Pearl, hiding under the covers on her bed.

Cross shook his head, what a strange Loli.

Yun Che asked "Could she see mine?" Cross shook his head and said "Neither of you. Though I think the Laws were interfering with Qingyue.. You however..." Cross' eyes glowed for a moment before Cross sighed and continued "I have no idea. But I'm not the one with the future sight affinity. It's more Luna's domain. She hasn't looked into the future for quite sometime though, maybe it's different now?"

Yun Che rubbed his chin and mumbled "Maybe I'll ask her next time I see her..." he stood up and smiled "Thanks, Big bro." Cross waved and smiled "Yeah yeah, don't get soft on me now..." Yun Che laughed and left Cross' room, as Cross went back to reading.
