Confessing

---next day---

I felt someone's breath hitting my face. I slowly opened my eyes and found myself lying close to Seok Jin. He was sleeping peacefully and I didn't wanna ruin it by moving myself and waking him up as his hands were around me, like he was hugging a pillow.

The best I could do was breath slower and lighter. I couldn't stop but admire his features. His sharp jawline, his soft skin.... can a man be more handsome looking, I wondered.

I slowly closed my eyes as I felt really tired. But I ended up sleeping.

Jin's POV

As I opened my eyes, I was a bit surprised to see the closeness between me and Y/n. We were really close, just centimetres apart.

I looked at her and saw her sleep peacefully. I pushed her hair away from her face so she could sleep well. I admired her beauty. She has it all naturally.

I was worried that she might get sick because of falling in the pool at night. I always felt different around her. Her caring nature and something about her, makes me want her for some reason.

Suddenly, she slowly opened her eyes. As soon as she did, neither of us could stop looking at each other.

We were inches apart from each other, than before. We felt each other's breath falling on each other.

I felt different. I felt weird. My heart said me to do something, while my mind said not to. But I chose to do what my heart said.

I moved forward and kissed her passionately. She was shocked at first, but responded back.

Y/n's POV

I opened my eyes, to be greeted by Seok Jin looking at me. I couldn't stop looking at his eyes. It was so mesmerizing.

Suddenly, he came forward and kissed me. I was shocked but I responded back. It was sweet and passionate. I suddenly realised what I was doing and sat straight, breaking the kiss.

"I-I'm sorry. I-I'll get refreshed." I said and headed to the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror.

'Just forget it. It's not gonna happen.' I told myself.

I refreshed myself and headed out. Jin was nowhere to be found.

'Did he leave, already? Or was it because of that...?' I thought. I sat by the bed corner.

There was a knock at the door, which brought me off my thoughts. As I opened, I was greeted with an unfamiliar face.

"May I know what I can help you with?" I asked.

"Please, I need your help.... If someone comes searching for me, can you please say I'm not there?" She was sweating and at the verge of crying.

I nodded and asked her to hide in the bathroom. The door knocked again.

I actioned her to stay quiet while I'll handle the situation.

I opened the door and there were three guys standing over.

"May I know what you want?" I asked.

"Did you come across a blonde girl, wearing a black shirt?" A guy asked.

"I'm sorry. I haven't seen anyone like that." I said.

"Why search for her, while we have one in front of us?" Another guy said.

"Excuse me, mind your words."

"How about you let us mind our business." Another said and the three walked forward towards me. I kept moving backwards. The more I moved back, the more they walked towards me.

I started sweating. I didn't know what to do. I got stopped, by a wall. I gulped down.

Before they could touch me, someone from behind, hit one of the guy's head. It was that girl who I asked to stay in the bathroom.

I found this as my chance and punched a guy's stomach and soon the other one's too. I took my belongings, which was not much, just my phone and Jin's phone. I grabbed the girl's hand and ran outside.

We hurried down the staircase. I heard the guys footsteps, behind us. I finally reached down and spotted Jin. I ran to him and breathed heavily.

"Y/n, what happened? Who is this? Did you run all the way from there?" He asked, worried.

"Se-Seok Jin, th-there are few guys who are chasing us." I said and coughed as my throat became dry, due to all the running. I felt uneasy.

Those guys looked at us and walked towards us.

"You didn't let us mind our business. How about we finish off what we started?" A guy asked.

"Listen, better leave before something happens. I'm warning you." Jin said.

"Mister, better mind your business." He said and held my hand. But Jin was too fast and punched him and made him fall on the ground.

I was shocked. The others were on the ground too. He turned towards us.

"Let's head home." He said and checked out from the lodge.

We three headed back to my home.

"What is your name?" I asked the girl.

"Hwa-young. And thanks for before." She said.

"I thank you too. But we both should be thankful to Seok Jin." I said and looked at him. He was walking in front of us.

"What do you do?" I asked her.

"I was working in a supermarket, but I got fired."

"How about I give if a job offer?"

"R-really?!" She asked, with happiness filled all over her face. I nodded my head.

Soon we reached the bakery. We got in and Jin directly went upstairs. I don't know why he's avoiding me. Could it be because of morning?

"So, this where I work. I'll ask unnie if there's anthing you can do. And you can stay upstairs as there are rooms there." I said.

"Stay here itself?" She asked, doubted.

"Yeah, we let people who work here to stay here..... Unnie, this is Hwa-young. Hwa-young, have a talk with unnie, I'll be back." I said and headed upstairs.

I noticed Seok Jin standing by the railings. I walked over to him and stood beside him.

"Thanks for saving me from them." I said. He just hummed.

"Why are not talking? Did I do something wrong?" I asked.

"I'm sorry if what I did, offended you." He said.

"It's ok. It didn't offend me. So, we're good?" I asked. He nodded and I smiled and headed to refresh.

I headed down to help unnie. As I stood by the counter, a woman came over. A familiar woman.

"Where's Jin?" She asked in a rude manner.

"Ma'am, he's at the top. I'll take you." I said and guided her.

Jin was standing at the same place.

"Jin." His mother called him. He turned and saw her.

"What are you here for? Let me guess.... to take whatever is left with me." He said.

"I am here to take you back home."

"And if you come, do you think I'll come back? I am not gonna come. I am going to stay here, with Y/n and her family." He said as he walked over to me and put his arm around my shoulder.

"She took great care of me and I know she'll do it more." He said. I smiled at his comment.

As soon as his mother heard that she raised her hand and was about to slap me. I too was ready to take in the pain.

But suddenly there was a stop... by Seok Jin. He stopped his mother from hitting me.

"Remember who you're dealing with. Better leave before I do anything." His mother got angry and left.

He turned towards me and held my hands. I was confused.

"Y/n, I can't hold myself anymore and I can't wait. Let me come straight to the point." He paused.

"I didn't regret kissing you. I didn't do it for fun. I really meant it. Cause I have feelings for you. Ever since I met you the first day, I fell in love. I know it sounds stupid but Y/n.... I love you so much. I love you for who you are and that you didn't change yourself for anyone. I love you so much Y/n. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.
