"If you move, I'll blow your head before you can even do anything with your gun to him."
Hearing that, the man who was aiming his pistol at me flinched in surprise. Feeling the muzzle of a revolver was pressing against the back of his head, his body froze. My blurry vision couldn't see clearly what happened in this dim space but my ears wouldn't lie to me. I recognized that voice. It was Marvel coming to my rescue, and I couldn't feel safer.
I could finally stand on my feet again, yet still trembling immensely, I was seeking support to the wall. Marvel, on the other hand, was still holding the man at gunpoint, his voice was calm but I could feel the seething anger that permeated the air.
"Sir…" I tried to warn him about some surprise attack but I couldn't say the rest. My inability to speak was either of the shock, the electric current, or both, but my voice just wouldn't come out.
