…No one knew what to make of this lack of information. If there were three people planned to meet at the courtyard including Risa, then there would have to be an innocent person, right?

“What the hell.” Mia summed up our thoughts pretty well, “Why aren’t they revealing themselves?”

“Perhaps…” Liam muttered, not trying to cause alarm, “Perhaps this is a dual effort.”

Unfortunately, his attempt was in vain, as we all looked around, shocked at the idea of there being two people in on this murder.

“How?” Poppy questioned.

“Why?!” Urkstin shouted.

“Most importantly,” Mia interjected, “Who?”

“Alibis are extremely important now.” I explained, my voice wavering and scared, not mentally prepared to get to the suspecting, “But I think we can clear some names.”

“Whose names can we clear?” Poppy asked, desperate for a clear on her name.
