"So… What're we gonna do if our kidneynappers are in here with us?" Questioned Akira, as we walked.
"I already thought of that possibility, and a good answer is to just overpower them five to one." Responded Liam.
"Wha-What'll we do if there's m-more than one of them?!" Stuttered Jinju.
"I guess then we'd hafta run away or fight for our lives, simple as that!" Poppy exclaimed positively.
"That's a lot easier said than done sadly." I responded.
After some time, debating methods of evasion or attack, we came across another door, the same type that we had opened twice before.
"Well, either we're boutta find some more people to join the party, or we're gonna run into a murderous dunce. I like those odds!" Poppy bounced to the door, joyfully boasting about the potential dangers.
"Pl-Please don't joke like that…" The rest soon followed suit in voicing their worries, but Poppy wasn't having any of it.
"Poppy, don't forget to hide the keys again so we can discern the goods from the bads."
"Right! Time to see what's behind door number threeeee!" Poppy flung open the door, which allowed all of us to enter the next room of our adventure, as we all peeked in to see the situation.
Once again, inside of the room were three more people. The first, on my left, was a girl, who gave on an incredibly awful aura the second I saw her. She had long, wavy blonde hair, and pink lipstick applied to a permanent frown pasted on her face. She wore a pink long sleeved shirt, which started at her shoulders, and barely went past her belly button, and blue jeans. Finally, she had pink heels on, which were in my view as she was leaning against the wall with her arms crossed.
The second, in front of me, was a guy, with an awkward smile on his face. He had short, almost shaved black hair, and a pair of sturdy glasses on his face. He wore a white dress shirt, with a goofy tie with suns with sunglasses on it as well. He had black dress pants on, and black dress shoes as well, looking like some kind of teacher. He was sat on the ground, looking reasonably comfortable with his position.
The last one, on my right, was a dark skinned guy, standing up with one fist clenched, and the other in his pocket. He had short, curled hair, and a scar going from his top lip to his chin. He wore a long sleeved green shirt, and gray shorts as well. He also wore green and red running shoes, and looked like he had some kind of object in his pocket.
"No, we haven't come to steal your kidneys, don't yell about it. We're in the same situation as you." I made our intentions clear before anyone could ask.
"Well there goes my question," This came from a guy with glasses and he laughed it off awkwardly, "So what're you guys here for?"
"Probably to let us free. That or to transport us somewhere, pretty limited options." Next to respond was the girl, who looked displeased at us, with a cold glare that sent a chill down my spine.
"If any of you try to take us anywhere besides the exit, I'll make sure the lot of you regret coming in 'ere!" Lastly spoke the second guy, who already seemed ready to fight, kind of like the bald guy…
"We've come to set y'all free, so you can help look for an exit with us! So if you wanna-"
"What reason do we have to trust you?" The girl quickly shot back, serious and suspicious as she interrupted Poppy. Before I could try and reason with her, Jinju stepped in, catching us off guard.
"Sh-She let us out of our chains, a-and hasn't tried to hurt us at all! I trust them, so please trust them too!" As he finished stammering his proclamation, he instantly stepped back into the small crowd. While he was doing that, the girl looked at all of the people in our squad and sighed.
"Fine, but I want to be the last one out, just so I can get a read on you." She made her demand while staring directly at me, while I walked over to the guy with the glasses.
"If you give me your name, I can let you out of here." I explained quickly.
"We've got keeeeeeys!" Poppy cheerfully exclaimed, thrusting the key ring out from her back, causing the guy to laugh awkwardly again.
"I didn't mean to be put on the spot like this, but my name's Joseph Lombardo, I'm the Ultimate History Teacher." While Poppy hurried to give him his key, Liam chimed in.
"History teacher? You do not look a year over Eighteen, how are you a teacher?"
"Well, I'm more of a tutor, so the 'Teacher' part is used on a much broader term for me I guess." Joseph adjusted his glasses, avoiding eye contact with anyone.
"Ah, I see, I assumed that, but it is nice to have confirmation." Once Liam assured himself that he was right, he backed off, as Joseph's key was given. After that, I approached the second guy, who hesitantly opened up.
"Name's Jambo Adebayo. Don't try anything wonky, but I don't have an 'Ultimate' like that lad."
"You're not the only one, don't worry." I assured him, as Poppy fiddled with the key ring.
"That's a bit reassuring I guess…" Once Jambo was also freed, I approached the girl, who wasn't looking towards me.
"Before anything, can I see that key ring you keep fiddling with? I don't need to hold it, I just need to look at it." I couldn't get a read on her tone, but as Poppy flung the key ring in front of her face, her gaze turned sharp.
"Alright, I've seen enough." She stated, waving the key ring away.
"Why'd ya wanna see it?"
"I'll explain in a moment. My name is Mia Utsugo, Ultimate Film Critic. What are your names?" We all gave formal introductions as Mia received her key and freed herself.
"So, why did you want to see the key ri-" My question was interrupted by her own deductions.
"You were all found in groups of three, correct? I'm assuming based on the amount of people that woke up in this room."
"Yeah, I was with Liam and Jinju, and-" Akira was also interrupted.
"And I'm here with two others as well, interesting." Her tone was getting more serious with each question.
"What's so interesting about that?" I was actually able to get a full question in before Mia continued, about to tear me apart.
"Don't you find it strange that there are four keys remaining?"
