Chapter 24

Dez POV

Max was carrying Marina as we walked into the castle, by then Marina started wiggling as she was trying to say something. Max stopped and put her down, she started to stand on her own and snached the gag off of her mouh, " I swear when King Titus hears about this they are dead! And when I tell him you two helped them you will get in trouble, possiblably demoted". We both looked at each other and started laughing, Tristian really got lucky that she wasn't his other half or wife. She stormed away in anger cursing and daming us. I looked at Max still laughing, " Alora was right, Sorsha should've parayzed her voice box and for a much longer time.'' Max started laughing harder, " Do you think she will lose her mind when she finds out Alora is Tristians daughter? I have to be there to see her facial expression, come on let's go". We both hurried to the study where we knew King Titus would be. Before we entered the room we heard Marina yelling about what just happened. We both walked in and it went silent, she turned her head toward us and smirked as she turned back to King Titus. We both looked at each other and just stood there. She went on and on how she was attacked by two servants and Max and I just stood there. King Titus looked at me then looked at Max. He huffed and rolled his eyes, " Dez go get those servants she's talking about". Then he looked at Max, " Go find Tristian and tell him I need his presence, he should be with Lynia in their chamber. Marina gave an angry look and huffed while rolling her eyes. Max and I started walking out the study, looked at each other and smirked, this is going to be an interesting night.

Tristian POV

I was laying in bed with my love kissing and rubbing her stomach. I love her so much words can't describe it, she's my everything. She was rubbing my hair, humming a beautiful melody. I looked up to her, she's so beautiful, her beautiful green eyes always melt my heart, her reddish brown hair flowing so graceful on her shoulder. She looks like something was on her mind, " Love what is it? You look like its something on your mind". She sat there for a moment and took a deep breath, "It's just everything that's been going on, im just worried for our daughter. She's going to go through so much, I hope she's going to be ok after all of this". I sat up to meet her at eye level, " Love, Alora is strong, she will have to find her way, but she is our child. She must control her temper and learn her gifts, once that's done she will realize what must be done for the realm. It's going to be ok love, we will protect her", as I kissed her lips. She grabbed my head to bring me back to her lips and stuck her tongue in my mouth. I see she's in the mood and I was too, but she was just in bed this morning recovering. I stopped kissing her, " are you up to it love, you were just in bed recovering. I don't want to hurt the little one or you." She just smiled and started to untie her gown, " It's one thing im certain of love, I want you right now". I smiled as I began to kiss her while trying to undress, until I heard a knock at my door, fuck! I sighed as I got up and started buttoning my shirt back up, I swear I know how Aubree felt. I opened the door very much irritated and seen Max standing there, " Sorry to disturb you Tristian but your father requested your presence in the study". I just stood there staring at him, " Can it wait until the morning, im in the middle of something right now". Max gave me a worried look as he whispered, " Marina is here, Alora and Sorsha got into an argument with her, but she doesn't know who they are.'' I raised my eyebrow, what the hell is Marina doing here? Dam I have a fucking headache already. I guess my night is fucked. I turned to Lynia, " I'll be back in a short while love, my father needs me for something. Just keep that same energy until I get back", as I smiled. She smiled and layed down, pulling the sheet over her. Dammit, now my night is definitely fucked! I waked out the door and looked a Max, " What the fuck is Marina doing here? And why is she arguing with my daughter?" He told me about what he had seen and what happened by the time we reached the study. I told him not to say a word, I will handle this, even though my father would do anything to Alora or Sorsha. When we walked in, everyone was there, Marina looked at me and ran to hug me when I stopped her dead in her tracks and sort of pushed her away. I walked over to Alora, " Are you ok princess?" She shook her head up and down then I looked at my father, " What is this about? I was in the middle of something". Father smiled and dismissed Dez, Max, and Sorsha, when he did that Marina was about to open her mouth, father just gave her a look. He stood up " Now that Marina is here we can start with our plan. Marina looked at him, " We need to discuss how rude the servants are in this castle, I want them punished! And why is this servant still in here?" Father and I looked at each other and snickered. He walked over to Alora and put his hand on her shoulder, " Why would I punish my granddaughter and her best friend for putting you in your place?" The look on her face was worth me being interrupted and having my night ruined. She just stood there with her mouth open in shock. " Now may I continue Marina?" She cut her eye over to me, then to Alora, " Yes Your Majesty you may continue". He started walking back to his chair, " Like I was saying we need to come up with a plan to get Tristan and his family out of here before King Morton make his move." Alora gasped in shock as she looked at me, " Why do we have to leave? King Morton is after me? Why? What is going on"? "No need to worry yourself princess, we will discuss this later. Why don't you go to your chamber, i'm pretty sure Dez is around here somewhere, have him accompany you". She looked as if she wanted to say something, but she just nodded and began to walk to the door. When she opened the door Dez was standing there waiting on her, I just smiled and looked at Marina, then my father, he was smiling too. Marina rolled her eyes as Alora walked out the door. "Now that is done, Tristian,Marina, we need to do this swift and silent. We will come up with a plan for tomorrow, I need Dez and Max here and they are preoccupied with their other halfs tonight. Tristian have someone escort Marina to a guest chamber, unless you want to". I let out a chuckle, " No father I will have Marcel escort her, I'm going back to my chamber", and began to walk out of the study.

Alora POV

I walked out of the study with more questions than answers, I don't know why do they keep things from me, I may be a newborn, but everything they are keeping away from me is about me. Dez was just walking he knew something was bothering me, he just kept me company. We reached my chamber door and he grabbed me close to him, then lifted my head by my chin, "Don't worry green eyes, everything will be ok. Do you want to go for a walk in the garden?" I put my head back down looking at the floor, " No, I'm tired, I'm going to the kitchen for my blood ration, then i'm going to bed". He Picked me up bridal style and before I could say anything He told me to close my eyes and take a deep breath. When I closed my eyes, I felt a gust of wind and we were in the garden. He slowly began to put me down as I looked around in shock. I guess he didn't hear anything I said, " Why did you kidnap me? I told you I was tired and just wanted to go to bed" He just smiled, " What kind of mate would I be if I let you go to bed upset?" He looked at the garden and turned toward the roses, "Alora, I know you're upset, I can feel it. For some odd reason our bond is very strong, I can't be away from you for long periods of time. I want to spend every minute of the day with you". He turned to look at me, "Your so beautiful", as he leaned down to kiss me. He looked me in my eyes so serious, " Wherever you go, I'm going. Wherever you are, I will be there right next to you. Don't worry green eyes, everything is going to be ok", as he hugged me. I hugged him back and buried my head into his chest then looked up at him, " Thank you Dez, thank you for being here for me. There's no other place I would rather be is here with you". We stood there embracing each other and talking for a long moment. He then walked me to the kitchen, then to my chamber. I kissed him and thanked him again for being there for me. I'm really glad I have a bloomate that goes out his way for me. I feel the bond he's talking about, I just don't know how to handle it. Its so strong that I'm ready for him to mark me. Well at least I will have good dreams tonight, they will definitely be about Dez.
