Can’t Be Saved

The abductor disappeared right after casting a spell. Lin Jin was impressed by how the black-robed man operated. In fact, he wanted to learn how he could pull off such a stunt.

The enemy left.

It was a signal that it wasn't time for him to confront Lin Jin yet, or perhaps he wasn't ready.

From the way he was acting, the black-robed man was evidently confident in his abilities. 

Did he think that his black wind chains and Ghost Vine Cage could keep Lin Jin in?

Lin Jin tried to break free only to find that he couldn't shake the black wind chain off, not even after using his pet beasts' strength. His pet beasts were tough, but the chains were tougher.

Lin Jin even tried Spell Negation but it didn't work.

No doubt, the spell level was too high for what Lin Jin could handle. This was practically on a whole other realm.

Should he deploy the Clear Wind Sword now?
