On The Run

Three days. It has been three days since they were on the run. Since the moment they left the hotel they've been driving around nonstop. They left the big city and headed back to their hometown. and since then they've been crashing in motels at night and hanging around during the day.

the constant fear and uncertainty were taking a toll on them, and both Sarah and Adam still had to heal from their injuries. Adam had slept for fifteen hours straight, as for Sarah she didn't have a full night's sleep since she left the hospital, probably long before that.

As she was sitting in the motel room getting ready to leave, she heard a knock then the door opening.

"Sarah, are you decent? can we come in?" Elias asked

"Yeah, come in! I was just getting ready to leave," she answered

They both came in, Elias heading straight toward the small TV in the room and turning it on. The screen started displaying a news channel and Sarah had to listen for a while to realize what she was saying.
