Chapter 91: Born For the Wrong Reason

"Not as a Centaurian. I was born to serve on these councils," he said with a smile. "But now I have a different Idea. There should be a delegate representing the hybrids. Either way I would still be able to side with humans. As a Centuman, I have every right to be a delegate. I have to represent the needs of the Humarians and Centumans. My parents will be pleased to hear that I'm embracing my Centaurian birthright—but not so pleased when they determine that I'm not doing it to benefit the Collective."

Bilal and Carmella did their research on the various issues that the delegates wanted to bring to the conclave. They were minor in comparison to regaining earth. In order to make a change they would all have to agree not to divert the attention from the true issue. That meant that there had to be a consensus that the only topic under consideration was one that represented the total of all humans—regaining earth.
