Chapter Forty-Four: Tears

"For now we wait, if my grandfather doesn't believe our word that Katherine is indeed dead we will need to make use those we care about are safe, but then once they are safe then we enter the inner chambers of the council and demand their heads for the death f my sister." explained Kat as he painfully sat up in his bed only for Katherine to drift over to his side in hopes of cheering him up or comforting him.

"Is that smart? We would be quickly surrounded and out numbered by the guard within seconds." replied Vixi with a puzzled look as she sat on his other side.

"I think word will have spread by then that Katherine was killed by order of the council that many of the guards will more then likely have started to loose faith in the high councilor for issuing a kill order on a ten year old girl." explained Kat looking at his feet trying to hold back his tears.
