Is the young master going insane? (I)

"How's your school, young master?"

Vlad immediately opened the car door with his tails wagging behind. He closed it and sat next to Liechael. Then the black limousine took off. Leaving the atmosphere once again silent. Since the boy already finished school life today, Vlad thought that he would go back to his own self. Normally, Liechael likes to complain while they're on the ride, but the youth was very quiet.

"Young master? Did you have fun at school?"

The boy shot a quick glance at him. "It's fine," he replied, turning his head to the car window. Watching the busy cars occupying the empty road. They stopped when the traffic light switched to red. Liechael's eyes went to the front, where he saw the people crossing the streets. He jolted upon remembering something. He twisted his head on the right side, "Vlad,"

The butler spun his head with his ears up. "What is it, young master?!" He exclaimed happily. Little did he know that the answer he would get will leave him disappointed.

"I want to buy some art supplies"

The word 'art supplies' rang very hard in Vlad's ears that he didn't realize that their car started moving again after switching to the green light. He turned to stone and let his soul fly away while feeling his body cracking slowly. He leaned onto the long chair of the 6 seater limousine car and exclaimed. "ART SUPPLIES?!"

The driver almost gazes at him from his rear-view mirror.

'Is the young master going insane?' He retracted from his position and compressed himself. 'He hates arts very much because he can't even draw a straight line.' Then he recalled all the bitter memories from the past where Liechael almost punched a hole in the canvas. He didn't like that to happen again.

Liechael soon noticed his butler's sudden shock, as if thousands of bolts electrified him. "What's wrong?" He eyed him with a stony expression. It made Vlad shiver, "N-Nothing! We will buy it for you tomorrow," he quickly responded.

The boy didn't talk anymore until they reached home. He went straight to his room and lay down on his bed. Come to think of it, this is his first day in this body. He's lucky that he's mixing well with the new environment. Liechael stood up and untucked his polo. He got the urge to take a bath.

He was about to enter the bathroom when his phone rang. He dashed to the side of his desk and picked it up. It was a message from Lilith in their group chat. 'Check your email,' she said.

Curiously, Liechael dashed to his computer and checked his email. At first, it surprised him to see so many emails. There are unfamiliar names he couldn't recognize, though he ignored it and opened the newest one.

The boy squinted his eyes upon seeing a different name. "Grace Carrein?" he mumbled to himself. He pulled the cushion chair and sat in front of his computer. Another DING sound from his phone went off. It was Lilith, saying that the art supervisor Miss Carrein sent him the new registration form if anyone wanted to join the art class.

His eyes remained on the monitor for a couple of minutes. After reading the form, he downloaded it and sent a copy to his phone. He replied a short THANK YOU to Lilith before continuing his bath plan.

"Vlad mentioned to me that you like to buy some art supplies,"

He stopped halfway, putting the small bowl with sauce near his plate. He's putting sauce on his caesar salad when Madam Lucielle spoke in the middle of their dinner time. "Yes, aunt Lucielle'' Liechael didn't give her a glance. He picked up his fork and twirled it on the lettuce before delivering it to his mouth. Although it was crispy, he munched it well, with no sound.

Vlad, who was standing beside him, didn't make a move. He averted his gaze, because for sure, the madam will look at him suspiciously while striking a question like 'Are you sure that you are keeping an eye on him?'

The middle-aged woman with curls in her greyish white hair paused. She hasn't finished doing her skin care for the night, but food is important, so she went down to eat with her nephew. Madam Lucielle imagined herself like a detective and threw another question. "I thought you hate arts? You even cursed me because of that, Chael.." She continued. "Did someone from your school enlighten you?" Her eyes beamed, thinking of her youth back then. All the boys from the art class will flock around her just to get an approval of being their model.

A smile formed on her cheeks, 'Youth is indeed magical' she thought.

The clouds of her imagination quickly disappeared when Liechael stood up. His plate was empty and so was his milk. "Thank you for the food, I'm going to head upstairs and rest, goodnight" then he walked away, leaving the two people dumbfounded.

When the footsteps from the stairs gradually disappeared. Madam Lucielle didn't stop herself from blabbering. "Psst!" she's referring to the butler standing at the other side of the long table. Though Vlad didn't even want to look her in the eyes because he's scared to be questioned.

He knew very much that his madam was like a child.

Madam Lucielle pouted and called the butler once more. "Hey, what happened to him? He hates art so much because of his father, right?" She whispered, even though the lad was gone.

Vlad scratched the back of his head. "I don't know a single thing, madam…" he replied. "He entered the car quietly and stared at the busy road, then he suddenly blurted out that he wanted some art supplies," he pointed at himself. "Me too was surprised,"

One thought came into Madam Lucielle's mind. She squinted her eyes and creased her forehead before looking back at the butler, who's still away from her. "Is he going insane?" she asked this unconsciously, followed by. "We should bring him to the doctor right away"

Can you imagine Madam Lucielle and Vlad looking like dumb? Lmaoo! Don't forget to add this to your library and leave a comment!
