Snacks with Medicine Inside

Yun Qingyan leaned against the tree branch and slowly looked down.

Fatty Yu held the box of snacks in one hand and kept trying to climb up the old tree. Since he was limited by the body he was born with, after trying for a long time, he didn't make it even an inch up the tree. His plump little face was filled with dejection.

"Fatty Yu has really gone mad."

"Exactly! Those are snacks from Yude Eatery! Instead of offering them to Senior Wanyue and Senior Qingxue, he's actually gone running after that useless Yun Qingyan to give them to her instead."

Fatty Yu immediately brightened up and passed the box of snacks to Yun Qingyan.

As he passed them to her, he kept saying, "They're really yummy." He added on by nodding his head seriously continuously as if he was trying to testify that those snacks were extremely delicious. "They're really, really yummy."

Yun Qingyan ignored the chubby boy and opened the box. A light fragrance immediately hit her nose and made her start to feel hungry.

That fragrance wasn't too sweet nor too oily. It was just right.

The exquisitely made snacks were neatly put together inside an equally exquisite black box. They were small and pretty and looked extremely attractive.

Yun Qingyan gently picked one up and ate it.

The chubby boy swallowed his saliva hard and his tiny eyes looked like they were about to shoot stars out. "I'm… I'm looking at… I'm looking at you eat." Then he swallowed another large mouthful of saliva.

This fellow was clearly starving.

Yun Qingyan burst out laughing. She flicked her fingers and the snack in her hand immediately landed in the chubby boy's mouth.

Fatty Yu immediately became alert again as he carefully chewed a few times. His eyes curved happily and his entire face was radiating with bliss.

Yun Qingyan picked up another piece and looked at the chubby boy with her clear black eyes. "Do you want anymore?"

"No, no I don't, please eat! Please eat them!" Fatty Yu shook his head with determination this time. The specialty snacks from Yude Eatery were really delicious, but they were hard to come by.
