Charizard Vs Garchomp 1

All of its fire-type moves have crossed the threshold again as its 'Flame control' improved. However, there were a lot of other moves that it had improved too. Like 'Belly drum', 'Wing attack', 'Iron tail', 'Thunder punch', 'Air slash', and many more.

Axel was especially interested in 'Air slash' as it could also be used as a dragon-type attack. Moves like 'Dragon claw', 'Dragon rush', and 'Dragon energy' would help Charizard a lot in this battle. He was also surprised to see that moves like 'Substitute', 'Counter', and 'Roost' had leveled up a lot as these moves could change the battle flow. 

However, the move that he was happy to have leveled up was 'Sunny day'. This move would directly increase the firepower of Charizard to a higher degree. 

Charizard also learned a lot of new moves.

Fire domain: The power of the fire-type moves would increase in this domain. There is also a higher chance of getting burnt in this domain.

 Dragon domain: The Pokemon would be intimidated and their speed and attack stats may decrease. The power of dragon-type moves would also increase

 Dragon king: The power of the fire-type moves would increase in this domain. There is also a higher chance of getting burnt in this domain. The Pokemon would be intimidated and their speed and attack stats may decrease. The power of dragon-type moves would also increase. The stats of Charizard would also increase in this domain.

 Dragon roar: A high-pitched roar that would intimidate the target. It may also paralyze the target, decrease its speed, and attack powers.

 Dragon scales: The scales in Charizard's body will shine with dragon powers increasing its defense stats for 4 minutes.

 Smoke manipulation: This can release smoke from its mouth which would decrease the vision of the target and also decrease the oxygen levels of the target making them difficult to breathe.

 Ash manipulation: Ashes are collected after Charizard burns something. It could manipulate it to defend against other fire-type attacks.

Charizard had learned 3 pre-domain moves. This was a testament to its hard work and talent. The description of these domain moves was very simple but it was very effective too. 

'Dragon roar' and 'Dragon scales' were dragon-type new moves that it had learned. The first would hamper the target and the second would increase the defense of Charizard.

'Smoke manipulation' and 'Ash manipulation' were interesting but they were not very effective. Axel believed that they would be effective after they crossed the threshold.

However, the most powerful new move that Charizard learned was 'Transform'. It had just learned this move a few days ago. Axel had told them to rest and enjoy but there were some hard-working Pokemon in his team who were addicted to training every day. 

Charizard had become one of these Pokemons. The description of the move was so badass that Axel didn't believe it the first time. He wanted Charizard to have such a powerful move but he never expected that the power of the move would be so huge.

Transform: When Charizard activates this move following things will happen:

1. Its body would change. Dragon scales would be covered all over its body. Its claws and teeth could sharpen

2. All of its stats would be heightened

3. There is a chance that it may go berserk and can only be stopped by listening to Axel's commands

4. Its fire-type moves would be heightened to an unbelievable degree.

5. It can only use fire-type moves.

6. It can only be in this state for 3 minutes.

7. All of its status moves would deactivate when using this move cause Charizard would not be able to handle the power of this move and its status moves.

8. After using this move, Charizard would be extremely tired and cannot battle for a week.

9. The cool-down period of this move is 1 month.

10. Had to use 'Blaze' before using this move.

Charizard had learned this move but Axel had not told it to use it. There were many restrictions for this move and one of them was the cool down period of the move which was 1 month. 1 whole month!!!

Axel didn't know how powerful the move would be but since there were so many restrictions, he believed that it would be very powerful. He might tell Charizard to use it during this battle. No, he would tell Charizard to use it in this battle and he was very excited. 

There were many restrictions for the move

1. It could only use fire-type move

2. Blaze should be activated first.

3. It would be tired for a week

4. All the status moves would be automatically deactivated

5. It may go berserk

6. Could only use it for 3 minutes.

7. The cool-down period for the move is 1 month.

There were effects of the move and there were 7 restrictions on them. So the move must be very powerful. 

Axel realized that Garchomp was bigger and taller than its normal counterparts. Normal trainers would think that it would not make any difference but Axel knew that it would. 

Most of his Pokemons were bigger and taller than their normal counterparts and they were stronger than their normal counterparts. Garchomp being bigger and taller showed that it had a great foundation. It didn't rank up by cheating or taking a shortcut. This showed how good of a trainer Cynthia really was.

"Oh, before I start the battle, no use of domain or pre-domain moves.", said the old man Sam. 

Axel didn't have any problem with it. He hoped to not use the pre-domain move.

"Now kids, this is the battle between 2 tier 2 king rank Pokemons. So move aside and create some distance between them. Are you both ready?", asked the old man.

"Yes" X2

This had come out at the right time but would Charizard be able to beat Garchomp? It was left to be seen.

"Good, start the battle!!!"

"Garchomp, use 'Sandstorm'"

"Charles, 'Dragon dance' and 'Sunny day'"

Both of them gave a massive roar. The sand started to brew and it started to spread. The speed of the sound started to increase but Axel was disappointed. The power of this 'Sandstorm' was not as huge as he had expected.

Meanwhile, Charizard had already used 'Dragon dance' and 'Sunny day'. 'Dragon dance' had crossed the threshold and now Charizard only needed to use it once for ultimate power-up. 

Charizard also opened its mouth wide open and 2 white balls of light came out of its mouth and went high in the sky. Then those balls of light started to expand and the temperature rose rapidly.

Garchomp was a bit faster than Charizard as Charizard had to use 2 moves. Garchomp was going to take advantage of it. 

"'Fine wings', 'Tail speed' and 'Thrash'!!!", shouted Cynthia very fast. 

First, its fins/wings started to glow (Fine wings), then its tail started to glow (Tail wings) and then it disappeared and reappeared near Charizard. Axel could see that it had not teleported but its speed had increased to an ultimate level. 

It opened its fins wide and struck Charizard's face. The speed was so high that Charizard could not comprehend it. It caught Charizard's face and flew high in the air and then it directly went down towards the ground.

BANNNG

The move had not finished. It took Charizard underground with the power of that attack. A massive blast came when both of them went underground and then after 3 seconds, Garchomp was the only one that came up to the ground. 

ROOOOARRR

It roared with authority.

"Damn! Is the battle over?", asked Akane.

"Of course, it is. Do you really think that Axel could beat Cynthia? That Garchomp is a monster.", said Volkner

"No, don't take Axel for granted. This battle is far from over.", said Lance.

"You are only saying that cause Axel is your friend.", said Volkner.

"No, the battle is still on." This time it was Steven. He refused to believe that Axel had lost so easily.

But many of them believed that Charizard lost the battle cause the speed and the power of the attack was huge. The ground had started to shake then both of them went underground. This was one of the most powerful attacks they had ever seen. Cynthia was really a monster.

"GRU GRU GRUUUU"

Garchomp started to laugh at its opponent. Cynthia also had an evil smile. It had buried Charizard inside the ground and the ground was not moving. 

Unlike Garchomp, Charizard was not a ground-type Pokemon and it didn't know 'Dig'. So, it would be very hard, almost impossible for it to come out when Garchomp knew that it had buried Charizard very deep.

"Garchomp, let's finish this battle. Use 'Dracoquake'

ROOOAR

"Charles, it is time. Activate 'Blaze'."

'Dracoquake' was the overpowered version of 'Earthquake' and it was a dragon-type move instead of a ground type move. This perfectly fit Garchomp as it had a dragon core inside its body. 

It slowly walked towards the ground where it knew it had buried Charizard. It gave a huge roar and was about to jump to use the move when the ground started to shake.

For some reason, Cynthia felt that Garchomp was in terrible danger so she shouted, "Garchomp, get out of there, NOW!!!"

Garchomp followed the command and jumped back but it was still a bit late. 

The ground started to shake violently and….

BOOOOOMMM

The ground exploded with such ferocity that all the pointy rocks and stones scattered around and some of it also hit Garchomp. When the ground exploded everyone could see the fire that came out of the ground. 

The temperature of the area increased to a high level. Even the surroundings had turned from bright white in color to redish in color and….

ROOOOARRRR

Everyone could hear the roar of Charizard as it came flying and stood on the ground. There were some injuries on its body but all of these injuries were superficial. It was nothing to Charizard.

A normal king-rank Pokemon would have been seriously injured but Charizard was different. After it acquired those scales, its defense and self-defense had been heightened to an unbelievable degree. 

The surroundings caught on fire. The rocks and stones were also on fire. Even the sand was on fire and it was evaporating in the form of smoke. The water near the beach was also evaporating and the surrounding was filled with raging sand which was being turned to smoke and water which was being turned to smoke.

It was becoming very difficult to see.

"Damn!!! What is this heat? I feel like my skin is burning on fire. Let's move a bit back.", said Volkner and all of them started to move back.

"That Charizard is scary. I have not seen such a powerful Charizard or any fire-type Pokemon before.", said Elesa. 

"Well me too."

Using 'Blaze' this early in the battle was not a good choice as the power of 'Blaze' would be more when its health was very little. But that was not the problem for Charizard as it had also evolved its ability.

Blaze (Evolved): Unlike before, the ability could used at the start of the battle. It would activated for 10 minutes and the power of this ability would increase every minute when the user accumulates more injuries and hits.

Garchomp felt that come was dripping from its face. It used its fins to see what it was and it was red blood. It was surprised. This was the first time it had been injured while fighting a Pokemon of the same rank. It was furious. 

"This is the first time I have seen that monster injured. Axel is something else.", commented Elesa.

"Garchomp, deactivate 'Sandstorm' and use 'Menace'", said Cynthia.

"Charizard, use 'Dragon scales' and 'Dragon roar'"

Axel didn't know what 'Menace' was but after guessing a lot of new moves in these 2 years, he could assume that it was something that lowered enemy stats. So, he told Charizard to use 'Dragon roar' to do the same. 

After Charizard used 'Dragon scales', the scales started to multiply in its body and now its whole body was covered in red scales except for its eyes and the fire on its tail.

'Dragon scales' would increase Charizard's defense but it could only be used for 5 minutes.

Using 'Sandstorm' was already bad for Garchomp cause the sands were evaporating due to heat. When Cynthia told Garchomp to use 'Menace', it started to laugh out loud. The laugh was very weird and looked scary.

When it started to laugh, a weird sound wave came from its body while Charizard gave a huge roar.

Both of these moves clashed and it was a draw.

"Garchomp, now use 'Dragon breath'"

"Charizard, activate 'Solar power' and then use 'Dragon energy'"

Axel wanted Charizard to use dragon-type attacks as it was supper effective against Garchomp.
