"Yeah….but about that wife's part, it's …..true! "Loy says rubbing the back of his head. Now that they know Dayal was actually lying about the incident, it made one thing clear for sure. He was definitely one of those brave officers in the department who do not even fear to lose their life for the sake of his colleagues. Undoubtedly, Dayal was indeed a hardworking officer who fought for justice.

" Oh… I see"Jake placed the coffee mug back in its place. Something inside him was disturbing.He couldn't stop but think of the first night when he collided with dayal. The fact that he was so serious about his work and his commitment towards it made him feel better. Unlike those officers whom he met previously who couldn't even help him get bailed though he was never wrong.

"What's happening? "Sid interrupted Jake while he was engulfed in deep thoughts.

" Aah… nothing. Let's go, see the others. Where are they? "

"They are doing some stuff regarding that lawyers murder"

"Oh, okay. Let's join them and Loy, we see you later. "Jake starts to walk out, followed by Sid.

" Hey… your coff… "Loy shouts from back but they already left.Sighs." Never mind "

After work all of them decided to go for lunch together. Sam and Mon were now more serious about this case after learning the truth from the boys. This was no longer Dayal's last mission but also theirs. They decided to work harder and of course cooperate with one another.

"Let's go to the staff canteen today. " Sam says as she straightens the scattered files.

"Okay, but is the food.. "Jake was interfered by Mon" Yeah it's good….at least it's edible "

"Anyways we have to find that… ahh.. What was her name again? '' Sid asks.

"Miss.Gill" They say in unison.

"Yeah, right. So we have got her information as well, so it's better if we do it quickly. "

"That's what we meant" Mon claims and walks straight to the door. She almost ran onto the person in front of her.

"Careful," He said. She looked back to her team to see the same expression that she was wearing. Who is he?

"Sorry, but you? " Mon asks as she releases her arm from his hold. The man was tall and had a sharp look. Those deep eyes were nothing but enchanting and piercing through her.

"Umm, I'm new here. I just joined today and was wandering around to find the meeting Hall but ended up here. I'm sorry. "

"Oh.. Why are you sorry? It's. Okay" Mon states with a wide smile.

"Aah, sorry if I bothered you "

"It's alright" Mon says, making everybody stare at her rampant comment. It was obvious. She rarely talks to someone and this time it is a complete stranger standing in front of them.

"Well then. I'll go. "He almost turned back but Sam stopped him "excuse me. But do you know where the Hall is? "

He looked back at once"No…..where is it? "

"See! You just left. It's in the.. "

"Take right and then turn left. The first room in front is the meeting Hall."Mon interrupts.

"Okay.thanks"

They gazed towards Mons face all they got was a blank expression. She was really strange today.

As they walked towards the canteen, it was decided that the next day all four of them will be visiting Disha Gill. They found certain locations that may be useful. Moreover that bungalow was already their prime suspicion.

Soon they were in the canteen and were surprised to find Dayal and Loy

there.

"Hey" Jake greeted.

"How come you all are here today? "Dayal asks, putting a spoon full of rice in his mouth.

" Ahh… we thought it would be a waste if we go to different places to eat when there is a canteen here itself."Sid says.

"And also, we can eat together! " Jake adds.

"Yes" Sam and Mon agreed as they took their seats.

Food is much better when shared and it's taste doesn't matter if we have friends along with us.This was the first time they are, talked and laughed without getting into any arguments. Dayal could notice it and so did Loy. Relief was clearly visible on their faces. All of them returned back to their usual room while Jake had a sudden phone call so he went for it.

He was sitting in a straddle position on the bench in front of the office. He gazed at the name flashing on the screen to confirm. It was her. But why suddenly after six months. Everything was over that day. He touched the green sign hesitantly.

"H.. Hello, Jake? "The female voice on the other side said.

" Yes…..Kiya! "

"How are you? "

"Good"

"I heard you were released. "

"Yes"

"Umm and what about work? "

"Fine"

"What happened? Are you no longer interested in me? "

"No"

"Jake? "

"What? "

"This is not the way you used to be"

"I'm as usual. Maybe you have changed"

"Why are you being so rude? What have I done? "

"What have you done? " Laughs. "Says the person who didn't even bother to talk to me during my difficult times, but just ignored me. Moreover you were the one who left me. If I'm right"

"Kiya, it's over. Please stop now" Hangs up the phone.He runs his fingers through his hair and sighs. Suddenly someone puts a hand on his shoulder. He turns back to see Samantha.

"Sam… w… what are you doing here? "
