Chapter 2: Sweet memories

Zariah's POV

I woke up in the middle of my sleep. A beautiful dream woke me up.I dreamed of him again, when we were young I knew in myself that I was inlove with him. Until now he is still the one I love. Does he still remember me I asked myself.

Flasback

I was sitting and playing in the park at that time, then a man approached me. He asked me if I was alone.

Yes, I am alone. Why? Do you need something? "I asked while smiling.

I'm missing, can you help me? I do not know where the road to our house is. I know our house is just near here but I don't know how to go home" the man asked me as if he was already crying. Kalalaking tao iyakin sabi ko sa isipan ko. Tsk.

How old are you? I asked him with curiosity. " 14 years old na ako, ikaw? pagsagot niya sa akin. Ano? 14 na pala siya? Mas matanda pa pala siya sa akin pero mas engot pa. 11 years pa lang ako, You are 14 years old but you do not know how to go home? I asked him in shock.

Bagong lipat lang kasi kami. "Sagot niya sa akin. Ah bagong lipat pala.Okay, our house is just near here. I'll help you" nakangiting sabi ko sa kaniya.

His face lit up at what I said.

By the way, what is your name?"pagtatanong sa akin ng lalaki. Oo nga pala hindi pa nmin alam ang pangalan ng isa't isa. Oh sorry, My name is Zariah Ember Veenciavior. What's yours? nakangiting tanong sa kaniya. I find him cute. I stared at him, he's handsome. His eyes are enticing. He has the kind of light yellow- brown eyes you'd call 'Amber'. His nose is pointed, it made him more handsome with that. I am Rage Morgan. "nakangiti niyang tugon sa akin.

Okay Mr. Morgan, let's go. "pag aaya ko sa kaniya. I started walking and he followed me.Where will we go first? "Tanong ko sa kaniya. Naisip ko naman na pumunta nalang muna sa bahay? You're my first friend here." nakangiti niyang sabi sa akin. Okay, I'll go ahead. I am sure mom is waiting me. "Pagpapaalam ko sa kaniya. Ngumiti naman siya sa akin. Okay, thanks earlier. Let's meet later here outside your house. "sabi niya rin sakin habang nakangiti. Nag nod at ngumiti nalang ako sa kaniya bilang sagot. I entered our house and he also entered theirs.

Few hours ago, we met outside our house. He introduced me to his parents. His parents are handsome and beautiful. So it is not surprising that he is also handsome.

They were kind to me, and later, our parents became friends.Our parents are very close to each other. They even became business partners.

Five months passed. I also felt a little admiration for Rage. We became close to each other. And he admitted to me that he liked me.

I promise to you Ember, when we grow up I will marry you."I was shocked by what he said, and I did not realize that he had already grabbed my hand and ran to their house.

Mom, dad!" He gasped as he called his parents. Why did he bring me here to their house?I saw his parents come out and they were with mom and dad.

I know we are young but when I grow up I want to marry her"he said seriously as he pointed his fingers at me. What? Is he crazy?His parents laughed at the same time as well as mom and dad.

Why are you laughing? I am dead serious here mom"he said while frowning. They stopped laughing and sat down next to us at the same time. Their faces became serious.Tito Davis, Rage's father, spoke."Are you sure son?

"he asked Rage seriously.  Yes "he replied quickly without hesitation. And you Zariah, do you agree with what my son wants to happen? "tito Davis asked me. Yes tito" I responded enthusiastically to him. Nakita ko naman silang ngumiti ng nakakaloko. Okay, everything is in order. You two will get married when Zariah is 21 years old . You can no longer retract. "nakangiting sabi ni daddy. Nagkatinginan naman kami ni Rage at napangiti nalang kami pareho.

Akalain niyong magiging mag balae tayo balang araw hahaha" tumatawang sabi ni Tita Janice, mom of Rage. Nakitawa naman silang lahat. Nakita ko naman si ate Addison.She doesn't seem happy. Does she have a problem?I approached her and asked. Ate, do you have a problem? You seem unhappy. " pagtatanong ko sa kaniya. Tumingin naman siya sa akin at ngumiti. I have no problem Zariah,  I'm just hungry so I look like this."she said.  But her eyes say different things. I see the strange sadness in them.

We didn't realize it was late, so we said goodbye and went home.

Flashback end..

I woke up because my alarm clock was too loud. It's morning. And I'm late. I got up and went to the bathroom to take a bath. After I cleaned myself up I went down. I just took a sandwich on the table and kissed mom and dad. I immediately went to the car and my sister was waiting there. We arrived at the school in a few minutes. I immediately entered our classroom. And fortunately there is no Professor yet. I immediately saw Beatriz sitting and waving at me. I smiled at her and sat down next to her. Sir Tyler was just discussing about Biology. I didn't listen that much because I was busy looking around.

The whole day is over. And it's time to go home. I saw my  sister's face near the door so I immediately walked toward her. As usual, we got in the car and we arrived home in few minutes.
