She deviated her eyes, but her natural instinct entered a defensive mode. "What do you mean?" She raised her voice. "How do you know all of that? What do you want from me?" She breathed deep and gained temporal confidence. "And please respond to me this time."

"You sure like to make questions," He nodded slowly, keeping his cool. "What I mean is that you have been enslaved, lied to, and you're being manipulated towards doing something disastrous."
